San Antonio here!! Transplanted two years ago by the military and now I'm never leavin! I LOVE San Antonio. When we moved here my good friend (a San Antonian born and raised) gave me a bumper sticker that I keep on my Fridge that says... I wasn't born in Texas but I got here as fast as I could. Hey San Antonio girls!! I am originally a Hawaii baby..

My husband and I moved to Texas in December 2005 from San Diego, California. I love it here and I have been trying to get my family to move here for the past two years.
I live in San Antonio. I used to live outside of Tyler, but married an Army man and traveled around a bit before getting out and now we are back in the great state of TEXAS!!! I love it here!!! It is wonderful to be back near family and not moving every 3 years. LOL

I'm originally from Central Texas (Crawford/Waco) but just moved to Harlingen, Texas. About 30 minutes north of the southern-most-tip of Texas. If you are in SOUTH Texas, please email me!!! I need to find some fellow stampers!!!!!!
I am also in Texas. Born and raised in Arlington. We lived in Fort Worth for awhile after we got married...now we're going on about 3 years living in Mansfield.

Texas, Texas, yeehaw! I have lived in Texas my whole life, well except for two years when I lived in southern California. My husband and I LOVE Texas, and much more do we love Austin!!! It's home.
Well I posted way back about living in East Texas now am back and forth from Rusk in East Texas to Justin (DFW area). I was born in Houston and yep I LOVE TEXAS!!
I'm from Texas. Live in San Antonio. I've lived in Houston, the DFW area, Flour Bluff (near Corpus), and Bandera, Texas! Traveled to many places outside the great state of Texas and I'm glad to say I LIVE In TEXAS!!
Hi there Texas Gals.
My Dad was a Naval Officer but both he and my mom grew up in Houston, mom's parents from San Antonio area (Jourdanton/Pleasanton).
I moved to Richardson Texas when I was 8 and we moved to Houston area to be closer to family a year later... lived there till 17, then we lived in FL. I just moved back December 2005 (from Maryland - I married an Army man)... and bought our house in Ft. Worth! Fort Worth is way different than Houston... but we are getting used to it.
Is there a Ft. Worth group? Hi Texas Sisters... Hugs & blessings.

Hey Emily,
I was born & raised in Cowtown & while I've been in Grayson County for the last 24 years - I still consider Fort Worth my home. It's a great place and nothing like Houston or Dallas. It has the best zoo, the best museums and just the best of everything, just more laid back. Enjoy!
(Sorry Dallas & Houston folks - it's just my personal opinion.)
Wasn't born in Texas....but I got here as quick as I could!!! Parents were both from TX and several generations before them....so, I guess I had TX in my blood! We got here via CA.....talk about a different way of life! At least for us...it was the LA area.

Just wanted to say "hi" from Groves! Born and raised here. Moved to Beaumont for a while right after we were married (1975), but moved back to Groves and have been living here (and teaching here!) ever since.
So what's the big event? I am thinking of signing up with Stampin Up and
this may tip the scale!
Susan
Hi Susan,
A Stampin' Up! Regional Seminar is scheduled at the convention center in San Antonio in late October. I attended a regional in Houston a couple of years ago. Lots of fun!
Hello ya'all. I was just looking here to see if anyone from my area, Temple (between Austin and Waco) is planning to go to the regional in San Antonio in October. My upline is not in the area, and I have no downline, but I would love to go to San Antonio if I could meet up with some other "friendly SCS'ers". Thanks.
I know it's a little early, but I like to plan ahead.
any of you Fort Worth Texas area ladies get together? I had posted here before and chatted breifly with a few, but I lost touch threw the lose of my mom...
Anyone interested in meeting drop me a note or email me [email protected] the two ladies that had contacted me please come back...
I am a northern girl brought here by work, now with both my parents gone I call myself a texan....love it here for the most part...

I was born and raised in Port Neches (southeast Texas) and moved to Hillister (in the wonderful country)2 years ago! I teach 2nd grade in the very small rural school district of Spurger!!

I'll PM you. I'm in Ft. Worth between lakeworth & Saginaw as stated above.
Where are you in Ft. Worth?
There are a few people, in Saginaw, Azle, North West Fort Worth. Maybe we could have a monthly craft evening or something. I started a thread, laughably, no one responded... hahaha I know we are all busy... so it is just a suggestion.
Always nice to meet other crafters.
