SHOEBOX SWAP GUIDELINES
1. Please use Stampin' Up! supplies if possible, however it is NOT required. Quality CS is a MUST!
2. We will make FULL cards using at least one accessory (ribbon, brads, buttons, etc).
3. Pre-cut as much as possible and put all of the ingredients in individual baggies. It helps to have one baggie per person so that if we run out of time we can grab the bag and assemble at home.
4. Please bring stamps or other items for your project that are not in the basic supply kit.
5. Please include instructions, tips and any other important information.
6. Please bring TWO EXTRA completed cards; One to use as a sample at your stamping station and one for donation to a charity, after the card contest.
7. You are not limited to just making cards. You may make other projects keeping in mind it should not take more than 10-12 min to complete.
8. Please bring a BASIC SUPPLY KIT to include: Scissors, adhesive, stampin scrub, cutting tool and anything else you think you might need. Label all your supplies!
9. At this time we are planning to swap with everyone. The final counts will be given closer to the event.
NAME TAGS
We are not planning on having a contest for name tags however it would be nice if everybody could bring one to wear for the day. Please use your name and Splitcoast name. You can create something fancy or just use a regular nametag sticker!
YARD SALE
Yes we will be having a table for people to sell (or trade if Current SU) stamps. Please be sure to have items clearly labeled. You will be responsible for having change and handling all your own transactions. MUST sign up for this so we have enough table space for everyone.
I had a most wonderful card-making day! Spent the day in Iowa.... at a Shoebox Swap. These events are such fun!!! While I can't attend the one you're having in November due to a schedule conflict, I encourage all of you who can to sign up. You'll have a blast!!!

Were you at the Marion shoebox swap? How did it go? I wanted to attend, but I had a stamp camp today.....

Yes, that's the one. It was so much fun, Jamie... and the cards were incredible! A lot of talent!!! The only thing that could have made it better is if you had been there. ;)
I thought about going to that in Marion... It wouldn't of been to far to travel, but I had my own WCMD events planned for my stampers Friday night and Saturday afternoon.... maybe next time.

AWW, how sweet are you? I am sorry, my stamp camp went well though that day.
Do you have any information on the building that this will be held in? I would like my mom to go, but she has MD and has a hard time walking a long ways and stairs. Could you let me know what the building is like and the grounds so I know whether to sign her up or not. Thanks a bunch! Cori
I don't know if I can attend this shoebox swap, but anyone who is "thinking" about it, please go. You will have a blast and come away with new friendships and great cards. I attended the one they had in Muscatine, and in Marion, IA, and I am waiting for the next one. I think everyone has a great time at these.
