What kind of snack should I bring..I almost forgot!! Am having a brain "burp" or something. Was making 12 crds as planned, and then when I went to see how things looked(must have been my femminine intuition telling me something..lol) I discovered that I had totally screwed up on the measurements!! Well I didnt have any more paper as planned, so cut everything else down,LOL including the basic blank carsd you buy!! Man I hope they look alright..and then to top it off discoverd Ive completely used up the only black dye ink I had!! You think pigment will dry fast enough? Geeesh.... So looking forward to meeting all of you! And thank goodness there is air-con because is it HOT or what today!!! yikes!! See ya tomorrow!

Thanks Jen and Cass for putting on such a wonderful event. RT you were missed!!! SO was everyone else who didn't make it!! The cards were all wonderful and the shopping at Ben & Franklins Too fun and last but not least The MARGARITAS at Dinner were THE BOMB!!!! lol
Roseanne thanks for driving and Eileen it was great seeing ya again!!! And as always I'm sure I talked ALOT!!! But at least you had some peace and quite during my nappy!!!
Again..had a great time can't wiat for the next one!! I guess I'll have to get my butte in gear and get the ball rolling on this one!!!

I cant wait to see the pics! Bummed that I didnt get to try out all the cards..but next year Im not leaving till theyre all in my hands,lol! That food spread was awesome!! doodah...your card was so beautiful. I took a picture(flash made it glare in my photo) but could you post one on your gallery ? I'd love your recipe... Next time I'm making sure I get to make your card!
Ann A came up with the asparagas wraps....she's not on the thread (yet ;) but I'll pass on the compliment to her! (we have a card/coloring class together tomorrow ...good thing I have a job to support this habit . Jen/Cass : will you be posting pictures here? Thanks to Cass and Jen for hosting this swap - It was a lot of fun! It was good seeing everybody have a goot time. Dinner was great - I did make it home, got home around 10:00, had to stop at Michaels in Mt Vernon.....was busy yesterday with the graduation announcements!
Let me know when you guys have the swap in Portland, would love to attend!

Hi gals! Thanks Jen & Cass for hosting such a great event. I had so much fun. Loved both make n takes. Can't wait to try them on my own. Thanks for all the inspiration. The cards were all fabulous. Enjoyed making new friends. Dinner was a blast. I was stuffed from all the good food brought to the shoebox so I was SUPER stuffed Doodah! Glad I got to see you again, always a treat as you are such a HOOT! Looking forward to the next gathering. Christmas in July - right Jen? Let's make a date. Karen (c3wham) opened up her home. Yipeeee my computer is finally back up and running! It has been down for almost a month - for the last month I have been sneaking my husbands blackberry when he gets home from work just to check for any updates to my SCS threads!!!
I also had a great time at the swap! Thanks to Cass and Jen for hosting. It was so fun meeting all of you - I am really looking forward to our next swap
