Hi, I'll be driving up from the Portland area and have room for 3 people in my car. I get great gas milage so the price per person will be low. PM me if you are interested in a ride.
Can't you reschedule it? Sheesh! He gets to see you everyday :rolleyes:
That's what I was thinking, too! My best friend from L.A. will be here but I'm dragging her along! I think someone needs to have their priorities tweaked!!

Hi!
I think I'm too far away to come, but where 'bouts is Redmond? I'd be coming from Surrey BC across the border at Peace Arch near Blaine and Bellingham.
Thanks for any info!
Heather L.

Redmond is closer to Seattle, but on the east side of Lake Washington. Try putting the address of the pace into GoogleMaps or Mapquest.
I just received the info for this event tonight.Thanks, Jen.
So.... I decided you might need a "PR man" (woman in this case). Anyway, I sent a message to about 225 PNW Splitcoast members. Hopefully 40 or 50 of them will be able to attend.
1 question: Will you be able to add to the original post a list of all those who are registered?

Yes, as people register, I will add to the list. I sent the message to everyone who attended the swap last Spring. Response has been a bit slow. :(

Well gee, Jen, if I am going to help sponsor this, perhaps you should let me know you posted this!!! And can you add my name so we know I'm coming????:rolleyes:
I AM SO EXCITED WE FINALLY GET TO DO THIS!!!!

I sent to a really looooong list of folks who live in Washington and BC. Last year I used the [location] button in Advanced Search on the members list to find lots of names. Because our little event was in Bellingham, my main goal was to find people in Whatcom, Skagit and BC. But lots of people only put Washington as their location without any town. And of course the folks whose location says "driving a school bus" or in front of the 'puter" we will not be able to find.
I was happy to help by sending out a link to everyone on my computer list. By the way, according to statistics you will probably get at the most 10% affirmative replies by inviting folks who have shown an interest before.
Since my message would be considered a cold call -- meaning it went mostly to people who have not previously shown interest -- the statistics are just 1% to 2% response. Hopefully it will do better than that. 2% of 200 is only 4 people.
* Invite another crafting friend who is not a Splitcoast member. * I am putting a link for this thread into my signature -- like what RT has. If all of us do that we might attract a few more newbies.

Silly girl... I didn't add any of us who are hosting... it's a foregone conclusion that we will be there.

We may have a problem with attendance this year since the Puyallup stamping expo is that weekend. I hadn't been aware of the conflict, but I appreciate being enlightened. If it's a small group, we'll just have to have fun for a large group!

I would love to - but can't - I have to work Saturdays...what a big bummer. It's been so long since I've stamped with friends...keep me in the loop if you ever do another one. A~

If it's free, it's advice;
if it costs $$, it's counseling;
if it WORKS! It's a Miracle!!
Please add Debbie (purple7), Julie H, and Kristi S. to the list. I'm going to ask another gal who went with me to the Bellingham shoebox (Kim). I still don't know where to send the registration fee!
Thanks, Karen
Good afternoon ladies! Thanks Garnet for sending me a pm about this shoebox (I hadn't seen it yet). Yes I want to attend. I do need an address and what to include in my registration so I can officially sign up, and that should give me a little time to think of a really good snack. Let me know! Thanks a bunch! Nikki
