Yep, I'm up here 20 minutes north of Seattle (on a good day), and OR looks a little farther with 4.19 gas, but I know it's worth it to stamp with y'all!
Love me some Honda civic mileage.
Well, You know..... I just happen to know an LSS that is RIGHT IN BETWEEN Portland and Seattle.....;)
Chehalis,WA is smack dab in the middle...2 hrs North or 2 hrs South!!!! (if DH is driving, less if not! ;) )
Yes, but you're so close to Great Wolf - we went in March and are going back in July!!
It's the perfect place to send the kids and hub to the water, and stay in the room with strawberries to stamp stamp stamp!
Quick Qoutes is hosting their scrapbooking thingy there in a month or so...it was WAY to high priced for me as I'm NOT a scrapbooker but the LSS gals are taking their blender... hmmmm, MAYBE! Are you going to that????
I didn't even know there was a LSS in the area, ooooh girl, I'm going to get in trubbble. off to google.
Next month I was actually just planning to take my rollerbob and hang in the hotel room, which has a giant counter for stamping!
The Scrappy Stamper which is exit 76 go left over via duct (I-5) take left at 2nd light go straight following curve to the right, go past "Sears" mall, and you will see it just past the South West Washington Fair Grounds. THEN there is Cindy's Simple Stuff, it is at the Outlet mall exit (81 I THINK) and go left at the light, turn left at sencond light and it is kinda behind Burgerville..... BOTH are FABU and carry different stuff.. Scrappy Stamper carries Great Impressions, Whipper Snapper, Tim Holtz, etc... Cindy carries, Art Impresions A Muse, Elzybells, Daisey Bucket (best paper and ribbon~Also from Hermiston Oregon one of my Mom's LSS's).... TONS of great things and prolly cheaper in OUR cost of living compared to up north!
Hey Cass - I just saw your signature line about Waikoloa - I used to live there and work at the Hyatt (now the Hilton)
Are you from Hawai'i?
NO, I went there three times in 2 years (high school friends owns a condo at Kona) and fell IN LOVE. I was hoping to earn the trip to Waikoloa with Stampin'Up!, but I didn't get my booty in gear:(. But I'm still dreamin'!
LMAO!!! I HOPE YOU GOTS LOTS OF QUARTERS CHICKIE!!!
A WHOLE PICKLE JAR (Costco size) FULL!!!! That should get us a couple miles down the road... OMGosh, the gas dropped to $4.42 today, down SEVEN CENTS... I'm wondering WHY??? Does that mean that tomorrow when I have to get gas it's gonna be $5.50/gal??? Screw nickle and diming people stick em with a buck!

I am under the laundry pile! No really - that is where I should be but instead I have been trying to get my 4 kids finished with their last couple of weeks of school. My son graduated on Monday and the other 3 are finished tomorrow - I have also been working on some swaps! Gotta get in with my son's prescription!

Today I found out that a long time family friends sister is a stampin up follower.. she's a science/math teacher who's neighbor/friend and demo was at our swap in redmond..small world! love talking stamps to anyone who'll listen and what a treat that the interest was mutual today:mrgreen:

Hi Debs,
I was just talking with Mary Ellen (thyme) this morning about when we could have a Bellingham Shoebox Swap. I told her I would check out the Get Together forum.
Durn!..... we were looking at those same two dates. Especially we were looking at the 27th. Maybe it will work okay if your swap and ours are only a week apart? Last year some of the gals from Everett - Arlington area attended BOTH -- but I think there were two weeks between.
Please let me know really soon what your decision is. From the numbers on the poll, it looks like you could flip a coin -- it's about half and half.
