I'm not SU related at all either - I'd love to go to the stamp show! I'm on the air in Seattle until 6pm, though - is it both Saturday & Sunday?

Is anybody going to Scrapbook Expo in Puyallup this coming Friday/Saturday (April 24/25)? I'll be there all day Friday, I'd love to have lunch with fellow SCS'ers!
I wish I was staying for Saturday, but I can't really afford a hotel room. :( Anybody in the Tacoma/Puyallup area that would let me crash overnight in their driveway? :lol: I can totally sleep in my RAV4, I just wouldn't feel safe doing it in a parking lot.

Too bad I'm not farther south for you, I actually have a bed & breakfast in Bellingham...you could stay at in the future if you need a US overnight sometime!

That's really sweet of you carefulwish!! I'm back from Scrapbook Expo, and overall I had a pretty good time. I gave a full rundown on my blog if anybody wants to read about it.
I am at the southern-most edge of Washington in the small town of White Salmon. I'm guessing there is probably no one around me for a couple of hours though!
I am moving back from Australia and will be back in Western WA in late July. Will be looking for a home to rent or buy not sure which at this point but in the Snohomish/Monroe area.
We should plan a stamping get together and meet up in person!! Who's up for that?

I just found this thread. I'm in Chehalis. I'd love to join in on a stamping day. However, right now I'm on deck to have cataract surgery on both eyes. One week one eye, the next week the second eye. It's fun to know there are so many SCS in WA. I go to some of the conventions. The next one will be in Bellevue in Nov. (I think). It will be a Creating Keepsakes one. I enjoy going there as I love to visit the Heartfelt Creations booth.
I will be back in WA in late July (after living in Australia for a year). After we find new housing (my home is still leased out for another year) and am all settled I'd love to get together for a card making day. Is anyone up for that?

Definitely!
I've hosted creative time at the Bellevue, Snohomish and Everett Libraries before, all had free reservations and lots of space/parking.
I'd also love to host one up here in Bellingham sometime for our WA friends up north and BC stampers right across the border

Hope your cataract surgery goes well. My mother had it done last year.
I live in Issaquah and work in Bellevue. I go to the CK convention every year. I normally volunteer to work the registration desk. I think it would be fun to arrange a meet up of SCSer's at the next convention.

Found a box of amazing swap cards and it brought back so many fond memories!
Bought a 10 acre farm just outside of Blaine near the border. Just started unpacking my dozens of stamping/paper/letterpress crates into the barn - thus beginning to assess and possibly donate some for local programs.
Thinking I may jump into a swap for old times sake!

I'm still here! But I moved out of WA State 2 years ago. I'm now livng in Las Cruces, New Mexico. I love the sunshine!!! I so miss the shoe box swaps we used to have in Washington!!! Hoping one day to have these again.
