Nikki and I are hosting a shoebox swap October 24th in Kent, and it would be great not to be the only two in attendance! Check out the notice in this section entitled Seattle/Sound Sound Shoebox Swap! Hope to see you there!

Hi, another washington resident here. I live in Port Orchard. Welcome to Washington! I've lived here all my life, and love it! Hope you like it as well!
Is there anyone in my area looking to meet up for stampin fun?
I also live in Everet. I am 5 minutes from the Alderwood Mall and Lasting Memories. I have live on both sides of the state of Washingotn. Yes it will be cooler here than in California and most of the time sspring and summers are cooler as well however the beauty here is breathtaking. You are only an hours drive or so from beautiful Mt Rainier and about two hours to Mt. St. Helens and you even have the Space Needle in downtown Seattle. I htink with all of us ladies from Lynnwood and Everett nearby we should be able to help you get acclimated and soon feel like this is home. Be sure to let us know when you arrive.

I also live in Lynnwood and now travel frequently to Moses Lake.
I know I'm responding to a really old thread, but I live in Southwest WA (Vancouver/Camas area) and would love to find some local stampers/scrapbookers to craft with.
Hi! Just found this thread. I live in Kent Washington, just south of Seattle. My mom and one of my brothers live down in Vancouver. I am down there every few months. Hopefully some more folks will see this thread who are down in your area!

If you ever haul your stuff down to scrap, lemme know! I'm just over in Camas and all our LSS (except Craft Warehouse) are gone :( so there are fewer and fewer cropportunities!
Just so you know someone is watching this thread, I'm in Port Townsend and never get down that way. Good luck!
Karen
We were in Port Townsend two years ago for a short stay - loved it! It is so beautiful up there. Are there any crops/retreats on the Peninsula that you know of?
The only one I know of is once a year when Sandi McIver, a SU demo from Portland, comes to Sequim (about 35 miles west of me) and puts on a big group thing. I couldn't go last year but want to go this year. I can't remember what time of year it was tho. I'm a demo but only a hobby demo.

Hi everyone... I posted something on the first page and noticed today that this is sort of an ongoing thread. I'm in Lynden, way up near the Canadian border. Each October we have a big Shoebox Swap in Bellingham. If you check back around July or August, there will be a link in my signature regarding the 2012 swap.
I'm in Lynnwood which is only 20 minutes from Redmond. Love spending time at Ben Franklin. If you wouuld like to get together e-mail me at [email protected].
Cheryl and Karen (c3wham), yes let's plan one! Is there anyone else around here who would like to join? Once we know the number of people interested we can figure out where and when.
Cheryl I too love spending time at Ben Franklin but find it a little expensive for actually buying stuff :(
Karen (felixdog), I sure am glad we've one out here and I hope it stays. With so many local stores closing, I'm always apprehensive. I was very sad when Paper Zone closed :(.

I was also very sad when Paper Zone closed. That was my "go to" store for specialty papers.
A friend of mine and I tried to organize a swap and get together last fall, but there wasn't enough interest. I know at 2 ladies (both in Lynnwood - my sideline "sister" and downline "sister") that would be interested. The only days we are not available are the third Saturday of the month or the second Sunday of the month. Let me know if you know anyone else interested.
I have a Ben Franklin in Monroe. I should have stock in that store!! Have you been to the new Hobby Lobby in the Lynnwood area? I haven't been there yet, but hear they have nice scrapbook papers.
I came across your post. It is 3yrs old but do you still meet with people for stamping and scraping? I'm looking to meet up with some people interested in that just for fun. I live in Bremerton. Let me know if you would like to have another scrappin buddy

Well, if you feel like traveling North, Centralia has two stores Cindy's Simple Stuff and then Susan's store, which for the life of me can NOT remember the name which amazes me as I LIVED at that store when I lived in Chehalis. LOL AGH! The Scrappy Stamper... she's across from the Fairgrounds (South West Washington State Fair, fairgrounds)... Cindy is at the Outlet mall exit over by Burgerville. I know that Susan (Scrappy Stamper) has crops each month. Centralia WA Scrapbooking Supplies Arts Craft Store Classes is the store and here is Cindy's store Cindy's Simple Stuff
I now live in Olympia and have a AWESOME store up here called Art N Soul Art N Soul - Olympia, WA

It is just an added BONUS besides being back on God's side of Washington!!!! ;)

I was sad when Paperzone closed too :( though I did get a whole bunch of goodies in their closeout sale. The Ben Franklin diecutting center is awesome! Has anyone else used it?
Checking in to see if folks on Seattle eastside still want to have a meetup. When is a good time for everyone?
I'm up for one. Been trying to put one together, but work and life have been getting in the way!! Let me know when you are available. I've got some stamping events coming up this month and a fun purse party on April 14th. April 15th, 22, or 28th works for me. How about anyone else? Karen
