I come to SCS everyday and look at the threads, read through them and the list of titles..... for some stupid reason it did not even set in that today is the day!!!!! Not that I have ANYTHING else going on just completely forgot it was today. I am still not going to guarentee I will remember to get back here tonight LOL Welcome to my life!!!
I'm just hoping I'll be on time!!! Today is my last day of work, so DH is coming by after he gets of work to help me pick up any final items from my office. I'll probably be home VERY close to 6pm, but have already warned him I'm logging on right away.

I've had so much going on lately I haven't been on much at all. I just wanted to pop in and let you know I am going to try and be here for the party. Dh is butchering tomorrow and it's the first scrapping day that Cindy and Tilly and I have planned for months. Dh is a very good sport and isn't upset that I'm not going to be here to help. However, that means I will be helping him get things ready tonight so he doesn't get upset when I go tomorrow! :lol: So, since I know we all know how important a complete day and half the night scrapping getaway is I hope you will forgive me if I don't make it back on! Also, I'm an idiot and didn't take pics before I sent my gifts so use your imaginations and make my stuff look wonderful in your heads! :lol:
Well I'm just a complete slacker! Not only was my gift late being mailed, I probably won't make it on tonight! :( I have pics of my gift to post so will be sure to share them at some point tonight! This is the first evening out with DH since Baleigh was born!! Hmm...maybe I can make it back in time or maybe just a little late....
Yes they do! She won't be 2 until June, but the 'twos' has started. She has found out that she can be in control of her body and she thinks she is completely independent. What a combination! Don't tempt me to move next door to you!
Nope! I'd move your way first! Would be closer to my family in WV, too!! ;)
Have fun tonight ladies. Hubby is working late, so I'll be in the midst of bathing and getting all four kiddos to bed. My package is headed to you Heather, late, but on the way!

Just checking in, I'm online now, been a nutty nutty nutty month but I am here!
And somewhere in thie madness of a craft room are the prizes and party favor envelopes I'm mailling out to each of you after tonight. I hope to get them postal by Tuesday (since Monday is a holiday here in the U.S.).
So here's how it goes: Everyone checks in to announce they are here, and we'll chat a bit, maybe play a game and then Heather can open her pile of goodies and as she does, she can tell us who's she is opening and we can post pics too of them... and then we may play another game if we have time. This shower has more folks signed up than the others I hosted so just depends on how long it takes Heather to rip into the goodies!

I'll get them in the mail Tuesday (monday's a postal holiday). Hope i can post them though, I have a new laptop - the most expensive one I ever bought and I absolutely HATE it, nothing is easy on this thing! Ann Marie

hello! I am here, though I didn't originally expect to be. I was supposed to work tonight, but a nasty fall today has left my knee the size of a football and painful. So, in between icing and elevating, I will be in and out. I am so excited, as this will be my first time to attend an online shower!! Is the mama-to-be here yet?
Oh I hate upgrades... takes me forever to learn it all. I know at the office they are going to go to 2010 soon and I'm dreading it because I've seen it on my son's computer, and even Office 2007 drives me insane because I can't find anything!
My system had crashed and my son fixed the basics but didn't have time ot reload all my software so now I have to do that... if I can just find it all in this pile of mess... I'm Soooooooo disorganized still! Drives me nuts. When I was single, I knew where everything was and had it organized. Now, I haven't been able to find a thing it seems in five years! UGH!
I have a Blessings Unlimited Open House and Brunch at my house tomorrow morning (you are all invited!) so I've been cooking all day for that, and cleaning. So tonight was leftover smorgasbord night here. Good thing, it cleared out a lot of containers in the fridge.

Oh Patti! Been there. Over extended one of mine a couple years ago. made the 2 hr drive home that way. Kept it up pretty much the next week.
Make yourself as comfy as possible and enjoy the party :-)

Heather should be on shortly, she posted earlier that it's her last day at work and will likely arrive home right at 6PM her time......which is in 9 mins
When you are posting here, look below at "Go Advanced" -- click on that, then scroll down on that screen to "manage attachments" -- you can then pull up the pic off your computer and upload it, and then it will load to the post.
I don't think Heather is here yet... do you think maybe she had the baby early??????
My cousin Gina went into labor the morning of her baby shower, of course they couldn't contact everyone in time (this was pre-social media) so we all had the party without her and her favorite niece, who was 10 years old, opened all the gifts. GUESS how long it took a 10 year old to open all that stuff! It was a very long afternoon :-)
