StampinMarni originally replied for me as a maybe to swap...well, I am in!! My scs ID is KaraC, not WVcheer97...who knew?!?!? Anyway...I would also like to bring a door prize...it is a little Easter-y, but way too cute to keep all to myself! See you all Friday...counting down the days!!
I am going to try and make at least one card for the leadership school if not a couple. This is going to be a really busy week for me! I should be stamping right now!

PS- I have had 3 customers receive that email about opportunity night and well they want to go.... WHAT SHOULD I DO???? I guess I am wavering on whether I should go to the SU? I have had several ask if it will just be a sales pitch to be a demo? any thoughts?

Karen, Thanks so much for posting those letters! I appreciate it. I didn't receive either of them. I wonder why?? Maybe because Sherry is a sideline to me, kind of odd. I did receieve other emails about the opportunity night last week.
Desiree, Please feel free to join the swap and door prize, we would love to have you. I think for the most part everyone is doing 30 cards, so that would cover you.
Also as far as the opportunity night I think that it is going to be a push to get people to sign up as demo's. That is just my feeling. That is what an opportunity night is all about I thought! Learning a little more about the ins and outs of things. Send your customers together if you want and you come to the dinner!!! LOL

I have read a couple of posts about the SLC opportunity night and they didn't have much good to say. Here are a couple of them:

I called DS and they are about as helpful as a screen door in a submarine! Good grief! All the rep could do is look at the info online now. I already know that! I told her to please let them know we would like more information, such as the confirmation letter they posted for the SLC regional telling where registration is in the convention center and that we won't be getting our name tags ahead of time. I wish they would just communicate better. It's kind of buggin'. I kept asking though, and she finally came back with the web address for the VA convention center. Well, that doesn't give any information except where it is located and that SU! will be having an event there. AND she said that they just got the graphics for the confirmation letter which should be up on the website by tomorrow. I sure hope so. I'm a little frustrated by these people! Oh well, I guess as long as we have it before we leave town it should be all right.
I'm working on my swaps and starting to STRESS! UGH!
I only have 2 days to get everything done. See you all soon! I am really looking forward to meeting all of you!
Don't feel bad, Jody! I am still working on my dinner swaps, I have no idea what if anything I will do for regionals, AND I have my very first workshop on Sunday (22nd) afternoon! My hostess just told me there should be about 8-10 people! Yikes!! I think I might be in over my head.........
And I thought I was bad Sherry.. I think you take the procastinator cake!! Maybe we should have an award at the dinner for that.. procrastinating.. HAHA if it helps I am still not done yet either.. teddybanner and my upline came last night and helped me out! They are great!

Almost done with my dinner swaps.....I will finish them tomorrow. Gotta get up early for work so I'm going to bed. Whew! Have a great night- good luck to y'all who are also still trying to finish!
here's my status - regionals swaps completed, but still need a "recipe" label for the back, dinner swaps done, just need to be signed on the back, and i'm about half way done with a door prize... i am most nervous about the door prize, now. how silly is that? hopefully i am bringing something that someone wants!!!

Well, I have all my dinner swap cards done and I am still thinking of laying them all out on the table and *glitterfying* them, we'll see.
I have some post-it note holders done to swap at Regionals and about 8 cards. i am going to try to do 10 or 20 more cards tonight and tomorrow night!
I am so excited: I just told my boss that I am going to take a few hours off on Friday afternoon so I can prepare for our fun night of meeting and eating! and maybe sneak a tiny bit of stamping in there, too!

Oh dear, my cards don't have any glitter. What was I thinking? Well, that's about all they don't have. hee hee. I sure hope y'all like 'em.
My doorprize - I really like it. I hope others do too, or if not, I will gladly take it myself. ;)

I have a question for you all. I had a thought about my doorprize. I was thinking of bringing a "set" of things I have made for the DD to give as a door prize. Would that be okay? I also have a "product" door prize, but thought that might be fun. What do you think?

ohmygosh!!! DD stuff?? How awesome would that be??? But then again product would be OK, too... I'm going that route if I don't get something made...;) But whatever I would make wouldn't compare to DD!!

Bring it only if you want to see a bunch on crazy women fighting for it:p
Well I just wanted to let everyone know we have had a few ladies drop out. We have more room if you know of anyone that wants to come. I think we have about 5 or 6 spaces available at least.
Boy what a good time they are gonna miss!!!

oh oh oh - i want to win Jody's door prize! How fun!
I made something, plus I am putting in some supplies - also non-SU - so I think whatever you want to put in there that would make a stamper happy is great...
must go run errands and then come home to pack and do laundry - woo hoo - leaving tomorrow!
p.s. those ladies that dropped out are gonna be sooorrrrryy - we are gonna have so much fun!

I wish I knew someone that wanted to go, boy are they going to be sorrrrry!
Well, I'm not dropping out- even if my swaps aren't quite done yet! I will finish everything even if it kills me- and it just might.....I got my SU order in today- and now I want to change a few things. Unfotunately, there is not time for that! Going to stick with the original idea........
DD stuff sounds great- I think Sherri is right- there could be a whole lotta "scrappin" going on!! LOL!
There is nothing like procrastinating on a big project such as this .... I am the worlds worst it seems, but hey I finished my cards (the stickles are still a dryin) now ... I need to pack and make my door prize ... no wait I have to come up with an idea for a door prize and then actually make it ... ut oh I should be doing something other than typing this message ,,, hehehehe ... cant wait til Friday!!!! See yall there!

I'm finally done with swaps for regionals and just have the ribbons to tie on my cards for the dinner. My door prize is about halfway done. That leaves finishing the door prize, packing my suitcase and stuff for Regionals, and dropping the dog off at my parents' house for tomorrow night--I should be able to handle that!
I'm planning to leave the DC area at around noon on Friday, or maybe a little earlier if I can, so I can make a quick side trip to dip my toes in the water at Sandbridge Beach (where my family vacationed for years and years while I was growing up) before the dinner.
