Hey all you DC Area stampers, let plan our next get together.
This will be a casual gathering, but I thought for those who would like we could do a card swap. Not a shoebox swap, just a card swap.
How does a Saturday in May look for everyone? I don't think Memorial Day weekend would be a good day, so lets try to narrow it down to either May 10th or May 17th.
So let me know if you are interested and which day works best for you. I will try to go with the majority.
And don't forget to let me know if you are interested in doing a card swap as well.
I'll check my calendar too and see if I can come. (I hated to miss the last one!) A card swap sounds like a lot of fun!

Cris - I'd like to try to come your way one of these times How far is Fairfax from Reisterstown? For me, the 17th would better, but I could probably do the 10th as well. I'd be interested in a card swap too. Thanks for organizing! Cathy

When we head up that way for the swaps we usually leave at 7 am. It only takes 1.5 hours, but we always give ourselves 30 extra minutes.
That would be great if you came down.
For others that are interested. I am like 1.5 miles of the Beltway on Braddock Rd. Really easy to find.

Hey Amanda,
I am not sure where Pax River is, Are you in Maryland or Virginia? I am just about 1.5 miles off of 495 (The Beltway). About a 15 minute drive from Washington DC to give you an idea.
We would love for you to join us.

Have any of you tried to sell your cards at a local arts and craft fair? If you have can you give me any helpful tips and where to start. I was thinking about trying it this summer. A friend of mine had a table at a local school for a fun fair and asked me to come along. Unfortunately she got sick and we could not go. I was looking forward to it. I really enjoy making cards for me friends and they keep encouraging me that I should try to sell my cards at an arts and crafts show. With summer coming up I was thinking that there are usually quite a few around. Anywho...any help or suggestions would be great!

It looks like I am going to have to back out! We found out we have orders to move to Ohio! Three guesses what I'll be doing that weekend (Hint - involves an airplane trip to Ohio.....!) I'm sorry though as I really wanted to come! I hope something else happens before I go!!
I sold a few of my cards at a craft show back in November! I had some boxed up as sets and a bunch in a basket with one set price! They both sold but people really liked the ones I had loose in the basket so I sold more of those!

June is truly insane in my little universe, but I would like to come if it's at all possible. What's a shoebox swap again? If it's what I think it is, I would really like to come play!!
