We still own a home in Joplin and have family living in St Joseph. I have a friend that comes to Ft Meade on a regular basis to stamp that works over there at Belvoir! Maybe we will be able to meet some day!

I think I posted in this thread before that I am a stamper in Arlington...well this stamper just became a demo on Monday and I'm trying to get my bearings!! I'm so eager to get started! I know that many of you on this board are demos yourselves, but I hope that some brave soul in NoVA could find in in her heart to be my first hostess...
P.S. I hope I haven't offended anyone or had this come off as shameless self-promotion, I'm just trying to get myself out there and don't really know how! I would be grateful for any pointers!
Glad I found this thread! I live in Springfield, VA, and I would love to get togehter with some local stampers. We just moved back home from an assignment in Ottawa, Canada.

It apparently was only up for a short time before they realized their mistake and changed it. A friend always saves it to a word document so she still have the orginial when everyone else was getting the 40% off one item. But they have been honoring it here in MD.
They honored mine in Reston VA. The register originally only took it off one item, but the salesgirl checked with a manager who did a manual override to make it off the whole purchase.

I used mine here in Leesburg yesterday and they took it too. The manager did have to do an override, but it was worth it!! Thanks!!

I'm way behind the eight ball here. I had offered to host a swap here in Northern Virginia for Sept 27 and then had some personal things come up which switched this to a back burner.
So, here's the deal. I can still have people over for a card swap here on the evening of Saturday, Sept. 27th. I'd like to have a minimum of 8 or maximum of 12 people confirmed to go ahead with it. PLEASE let me know by Sunday Sept 14th if you can make it.

Hopefully we will be able to meet up sometime in the near future. A couple of us MD ladies do enjoy hitting some of the stamp stores out there in VA, next time we plan a trip I'll let you know and maybe we can meet at the store for some shopping and then go to lunch. :-D
Sounds fun to me! I didn't even know there were stamp stores out here! If anyone has a list, please let me know. I'm a quilter and stamper/scrapbooker and still trying to figure out where things are (besides Michaels and JoAnns).
I know of two stores in Frederick, and one in Hagerstown, though haven't been yet.

I'll keep that in mind! I used to go out to DC about once a month with my other job but now rarely go! May have to make a trip sometime.
