Hi Everyone!
The swap will be at a condo clubhouse in Centerville. It is easy to find off the I-15 Centerville exit. I will post directions closer to the swap.
I hope to see you all again!
Melisa For those of you who are new, here is a description of what a shoebox swap is:
All cards are to be full cards. Each person will need to bring enough supplies for everyone to make their cards including all cardstock, stamps, inks, embellishments, tools, etc. Each person is also asked to bring their own adhesive to use on all the projects we make. You will take your adhesive with you when you go from shoebox to shoebox. Please make sure all of your supplies (stamps, ink pads, scissors, punches, etc.) are labeled with either your name or initials, so we all go home with the stuff we brought. We will have power outlets and plenty of room so if you want to do embossing on your card, etc thats great.
Door prizes- Yes! If you want to bring one, please do so that day and we will do drawings.
Potluck please sign up, we have a kitchen, so if you need to cook it there, warm it up, whatever, we can. Please provide serving utensils because the kitchen isnt stocked. I will bring plates, silverware, napkins and cups.

A couple of reminders:
1. Make sure and sign up for the potluck
2. If you'd like, please bring a doorprize for the drawings
3. We have electrical outlets availabe, so if you want to do a project with
heat embossing, we can.
4. There are no utensils in the kitchen, so please bring a serving utensil for
your potluck
5. I'd like to get together from 11:30- 4:00. (We have the clubhouse all day)
6.Don't forget to bring your own adhesive
I am going to dry by the clubhouse where we will meet today so I can finalize my directions, so I will post them later.
The directions are in post #116
I'm so excited!

Thanks Melisa for heading this up. I voted for the 13th because my hubby is coming the week after that and I know I will NOT be up for a shoebox swap especially since I am only going to get him for 30 days before I have to send him back..
I am soo looking forward to getting together again. The last one was soo fun, rushed but fun.
Sounds like fun! I missed the last one and I would like to give this one a try. The 13th is better for me, DS has wrestiling on the 20th and the 27th is the day after his b-day so we might be doing a party that Saturday. How knows just keep me posted. Thanks!!!
Melisa-
My friend Nancy Pearce who came last time wants to come again and says the 13th works best for her also.. Since I have already voted it won't let me poll again for her response so add another one to the 13th!
So far it sounds like we have a few that are for sure coming!!

Sounds like fun! Would you be interested in a southern Utah version? I'd love to have you all come down to St. George for a change. I have access to my school. Lots of room and close to restaurants, Costco, or the school kitchen. I'd be willing to come up there, but I would love you to get out of the cold and come south.
My parents live in St George so I'm game for a southern get together. Since we are going to get our first valley snow this weekend maybe a trip south will sound even better!
If we do decide to keep it up north this time, I think we should go south next time.

Subscribing to thread. I am not sure when we are moving so we will just have to see, but if I am still here I would love to come. I had so much fun last time!

We had a lot of fun at the first one. We would love to come to another one, however in January it just sort of depends on the weather. I even have a friend who told me the other day that if I go again, she wanted to come with me. So, I'm definitely thinking about it.:-D

If the weather permits, I'm there. I'll probably bring my sister and possibly my cousin. I am too chicken to drive in the snow, so pray for good weather.
Melisa, I'll plan a southern Utah swap in March. How does that sound?
I love to go to Southern Utah in the early spring. I'll be there for sure! I will pray, keep my fingers crossed, etc that the weather that week will be mild!

I'm kind of new to SCS so I didn't come last time, but would love to come this time. Any Sat. would probably work so I didn't vote. Will you let us know later how many cards to bring? And what ever else you need help with?
I live in Pleasant Grove.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving all!! It is officially Thanksgiving and I need to get to BED!! Hope we can figure out a date soon so I can see if I can come or not...
