I'm planning being there. After all the awful stuff I'm responsible for in May at school, like a banquet for 150 people on the 17th, it will be fun to come play!
FIRST AND FOREMOST, stay on this thread. Don't go to the other one that says "anyone interested in another northern Utah shoebox swap." This is the new and updated one and we need to all stay on this one only.
On May 1st, we're going to close the signups for this swap, so we can start planning our individual swap project and get it made in time for the day of the event. So if you are thinking about joining, do it soon! Here is a list of who I have so far. PM me with any corrections.

So I'm counting about 17 right now. Correct me if I'm wrong.
17 is such a great start!!! Pass the word to friends and family and see if we can't get a few more people. It is so nice to get to meet new stamping friends.
What time frame are we having this? I have a friend interested in coming, but it depends on the time. Also, I need to know because I might not be able to attend depending on the time.

The time frame is perfect for me! I told my friend that she has until the 30th of April to commit to coming. I am driving down from Roy and would be happy to car pool with people. I don't have a big car, but I could take a couple of people with me.

I am coming down from Layton if you want to meet here and I can drive down. I am also going with Tilleydog and one of my friends but I have a van and we can take 7 people!! Julie- Come on down too.
Hey gals, I had a computer problem for a few days. We are so glad to include Vicky from Clearfield, and Adrian from Salt Lake - - we are getting on up there in numbers! :p YuRee, looks like we'll have a BUNCH from Davis County and north, so maybe we'll take you up on filling up your mini-van! Good idea.
The excitement is MOUNTING........... remember, the big day is MAY 19th!!!

On I-15 the exit you will want is the next exit after Provo's University Avenue exit. It is an exit only exit. When you come off the exit turn left at the light, and go over the overpass. Flying J will be on the Right hand side of the road at the next stoplight.
I have some very sad news!!! Tanya and I will not be able to come. My daughter's dance recital is that day. I thought it would be in the evening so it would work out, but I just found out it's in the middle of the afternoon. While I know that she is going to be just darling and I can't wait to see her little dances ( she won't show me , she says it has to be a surprise) (she's I will also miss seeing my friends and making new ones. We'll have to do it again so that I can come to that one. Tanya wants to come watch DD recital too.
Sorry, I don't know how the smiley face got on there, it's supposed to say that she is eight years old. I don't dare push the number eight because it might be wrong again.
While I know that it is much more important that you be at your daughter's dance recital, - - gosh what a bummer that it has to conflict with our shoebox swap!! Is there any way you could just come for the first part, or will you be doing hair and makeup :lol: (I have nieces and have "been there, done that" with dance recitals.... ha ha) Once when my sister was in labor at the hospital, she had a 3 year old who was starring in a recital, so Aunt Julie got to do all the fun stuff!!
okay, I have been thinking about it and it sounds like alot of fun...so sign me up too! I look forward to the swap, and it is only 5 minutes away from my house!
Hey everyone, join now if you're going to! Tomorrow is the cut-off date, so we can have enough time to get everything together by the 19th of May. So I am asking that if you are going to sign up, please do it by 5PM tomorrow. After that, I will go through and try to tally up how many we have coming and then post it on here. I'm sorry but we'll have to enforce this date, as this is looking to be a fairly large shoebox swap, and we just need the 2+ weeks to work on our swaps. Some of us may need to order supplies first, also. So don't think I'm a meanie when I say "No More Signups after April 30th (tomorrow) at 5PM" :rolleyes:

The MEANIE :twisted: is speaking!! If you haven't signed up yet, you are too late. Sorry. We must go through and count now, to see how many are coming! The MEANIE is having a really 'rushed' day today, though, so it will be later tonight before I can get back to this thread and post the results. So much to do today - - - why does it all hit on one day?!? And then, too, all I want to do is sit and look over the list of retired SU stamps that just came out today! No time to do that either, till later.
