Hey.... where are all the Fort Worth gals? Want to get together monthly and craft/scrap?
Just a casual gathering or something...
I'm not sure what. I'm just saying...
Em
would be willing to meet up. I would actually love to do a shoebox swap! I have never been to one, but heard they are a lot of fun. I saw a post for one in Austin, maybe we can have one up here! Let me know if you would be interested and we can see if we could get a group together.
Thanks

Sorry I've been neglecting this post.
There wasn't much interest and I got busy - sorry.
I would love to do a shoe box swap.
I am unsure how to organize. Maybe we could do one around Grapevine so that dallas gals can come too... Let's talk it out.

Sent you a PM. I'm interested in a monthly stamping, shoebox swap, whatever and have 2 stamping buddies I meet with regularly. Let me know if you are able to get this going. Right now, we each design a card and furnish the supplies for the card for all three of us. Kind of a shoebox swap on a small scale. We usually make 3 cards/projects a night (2-3 hours) with lots of visiting, of course!
WOW... it's like a Christmas Miracle.
I say if we do something monthly I personally wouldn't mind one month Ft. Worth, One month Dallas, One month Irving, etc.. we could all sign up to host.
AND - I think a shoebox swap would be fantastic - though I am not sure what goes on because I have never been... BUT - my email is [email protected]... let's start a group and see what comes of it. OK?
Bumping up. I'd like for a few of us to get together to plan something. I've never gotten a group together and I'd like to talk about expectations, plans, etc... ANYONE???
Thanks.
I think we should just set a date say in March for starters.
Could everyone interested PM me your email?
Then I say we just stamp or scrap together monthly or every other month - definitely rotating homes or places suggested.
I'm working now, so I don't always remember to check this. But I do check my PM's.
Let's try a weekend in March for starters...
Let's say March 7th. How does that work for those who want to come?
Lazorkay - thanks for your PM.
AND - I am happy to host the first one, then we can decide when/where the 2nd one will be that day.
I'm in Mansfield and work in North Grand Prairie... I'd love to get together! Emily, I'll pm w/my info. Thanks for starting this thread and not letting it die... Look forward to meeting everyone!
You are very welcome.
I will wait till next weekend, I'm hoping everyone will PM me their emails.
Then I will send emails to everyone and we can pick times on March 7th that everyone is available.
Em
Hi! I'm in Little Elm and I would love to join in. Off the top of my head, March 7 sounds good to me. It would be great fun to meet up once a month or so and meet new people!
COOL!
Let's say 9am - 1pm - my house on the 7th.
You can come for all or part of the time.
And please make sure you have PM'd or emailed me so that I can send you my info this weekend.
Bring stuff to make cards you want to make. Bring extra white card stock in case you want to stamp an image or two that others bring.
Got mine and I'm in! i sent this to you but I want the others to see it too...
Em and all:
I have a cute and easy card and I will bring everything needed to do it for 15. Also, when you set a menu I would love to bring something to help out. I am kind of excited as I met someone in real life from SCS just recently and it was the best. Also, I live in Carrollton (north of Dallas) right off the 121 bypass and I 35, one mile from Vista Ridge mall. If that turns out to be too far, I may "borrow" a house and bring all the stuff so it will be closer for the Ft. Worth girls. After all, I am the foreigner!

Thanks Linda,
I say, if you can drive out here, we can drive out there. Plus, there is always carpooling. I'm happy to take as many who want to ride in my Explorer. So we will work it out.
And I figure I will make a quiche, buy some kolaches and make some fruit salad or have some sliced fruit... and then whatever everyone else wants to bring with regards to MUNCHIES is ok.
I would love to help you by bringing all the beverages. I just need a list of what everyone wants. I am a Diet Dr. Pepper fan and those peach tea packet for bottled water so I know I am bringing all that. Start listing here and I will get it for us!
Well Karen, you just tell him you need to go relax with the girls. lol
And Kristin, we'll miss you. But hope you can come next time.
The way the dates will work is whoever is hosting it will pick a date, hopefully in April... and then, we will go from there.
Em, I heard Imprints is closing from another thread. Maybe one day we can plan a sales trip to the store and grab a coffee!
Hey Linda - great news.
You are welcome to come. My friend Kelly was all upset we weren't still gonna hang out.
So COME IF YOU WANNA...
We will just stamp till lunch and go grab a bite somewhere or something.
Really? Pm me on Friday and let me know if we are still on. Sounds like fun and I sooo need fun right now! BTW--liver is good and I feel fine. I am ready to stamp!
