I know a lady that is going to be giving a class in Calgary on the Copics in the next few weeks if you are interested.

If you could bring the information that would be great - I havn't purchased any as I am still trying to convince myself that I would use them enough to warrant the cost as I have so many other coloring mediums as it is. I too love the watercoloring methods and it what I use the most but if you bring the information I would greatly appreciate it. If you would like to try to email that would work as well and my email is [email protected] .

Hey Peggy, do you need help taking stuff there that day? If so, let me know. I could always come load stuff in my car the evening before or something.

Suppose I should make a list of things I *need* ;) eh

Dawn - you got your wish! lol A bit of a sprinkling here in the big E this morning. Won't stay thankfully!

Well, I was up very early this morning and went into my craft space. I think I have my swap figured out! Colors are.....

Kiwi Kiss and Pacific Point. I rather like the colors together now. Didn't at first (before assembling the card), but I do now! Now to make how many?? Need to check.

I think they were in the stationary aisle. Actually, Regina told me because Louise found them there and told her! All credit goes to Louise for sure!! I have put all my 6X6 papers in the envelope in case of dust. Works great. Now to make a container to hold them in. The 6X6 ones will even fit 4 tile coasters too! awesome! I think there were 25 in the 6X6 package if that helps any!

Yippeee....that dusting of snow is GONE....not sure it was enough moisture for my fertilizer though....lol
Now if only it would WARM UP! This is ridiculous that I'm turning the heat on in my car!

OK I'll get busy making my swaps....soon ;) I'm always a last minute girl....if I do something now, I'll end up thinking of something better later and wish I'd done that.

Hi Ladies, I was at Dolarama and they have the 6x6 envelopes. There 25 in a pack and I think they are $1.25 now. If anyone wants I can pick some up, just let me know how many you want.
Can't wait to see everyone in 29 more sleeps!

Ok, Peggy I have pondered and thought and will do a 3d swap and 3d shoebox swap. I've got more than two weeks 'spare' time in the UK to plan them! :lol:

all the time, deb!
I have two tailgaiting jumbo wheels !
rolleyes!
``````````````````````````````````````````
enabler alert:
listen girls,
I was just at stamp-a-doodle...
(my side of town... went to visit my " ancestral home "... okay just my mom....she is up to something painting and buffing up her house...
anyone go all the way out to western ed today? not I !)
I saw stmpadoodle lady's selection of stampscapes was a little thin... but I also noticed that her catalog was out so she must've been bringin' some more in...
I looked A---WAY!( always virtuous!)
cuz as I say, I must *not start* with stampscapes
cuz I just won't stop...
but the samples were pretty awesome!
there was a tropical island volcano sunset card that was so luscious!
and lotsa cards that looked just like the giftshop stuff I saw everywhere when I lived in Jasper.
wowee.
I could fall....hard!
also somewhere on SCS , anyone here?
there were ladies looking for twinking H2O's...
S-A-D also had them in all sorts of selection sizes...
a *few* of each size package ( 6's, 9's, more...)
especially noticable considering I thought that twnkH2O's were long gone since Christmas!
I also looked away
(I'm so virtuous!)
... actually because I have pearlexpowders already lonely and underused
and those mica sprays I need to still master...
ugh!
I have finally found my limits.
shockofallshocks!
I got away * almost * without buying anything.
ds was the one who was filling his basket!
he was so cute! He quite charmed the lady.
and right in front of her Mister!
my ds is utterly "shameless"LOL!!!
I bought a small stamp with a pile of laundry in a basket on it
and an oil lamp image... like when you go camping
ds bought an elephant image with a tiny baby hanging from his trunk... like an overlarge stork!
why I am somehow in need of those in my vast collection is really a mystery.
odd girl that I am .
well,
bfn!
Okay so one of you Edmonton girls should give the poor woman at stamp a doodle a heads up because once we all take that class guess where we'll be headed. Poor thing doesn't even see it coming..lol.
morning everyone! Up bright and early like normal. Was able to head downxtairs and my swap cards are all cut, now to assemble! Dawn, I do the same thing - have everything ready and then change my mind! Hoping not this time! lol
Deb - I too buy doubles - usually in a state of panic! heehee you know the feeling, I am positive I don't have that because I can't see it! I've bought double ink pads a few times now! Now I think carefully before buying. And usually a bit of cleaning up in the stamp room too! lol
Not sure what the weather is going to be today, but am going to go to Home Depot to buy some paint for the front deck that desperatly needs it! Maybe next weekend will be nice enough to paint it (and I will be ready!!).
My girlfriend is selling these gift card thingys to support her soccer teams trip to Austrailia for the Worlds Senior Womens Soccer Tourny. kinda strange saying Senior when she is only 38. haha Anyway, they had buckies cards, Home Depot, Superstore etc etc, so seeing as I was buying stuff there anyway, I got them from her! Win win situation!!! Plus it is making me buy the supplies seeing as I have already paid for it! lol kinda cool fundraiser for sure!
hope everyone has a great day - and get on those swaps! Only 27 more sleeps!!!
Hey I have a friend going to Australia in the fall for soccer too! Wonder if our friends are on the same team? How many teams from Edmonton would be going for the same tourney? lol
I'm not going anywhere....it's snowing....good for my fertilized lawn though ;)
Might start sketching out a few layouts for my swap cards today
wouldn't that be freaky!!! I am pretty sure that there are two teams going as I know two ladies who are going but aren't on each others team. Ya'd think I would know the team names, but alas I don't.
My one friend that is going has held a silent auction that raised abite a bit of money, and also took lots of mine ! lol Planned on spending around $100 to support her and her team, and walked out with spending ALOT more than that! lol
This weather is so icky! Putting me in a depressed mood for sure! This snow is unaccepable at the end of April! lol I want summer (said in a very whiney voice).
Hmmm - Isn't Amanda in Hawaii? loser :P haha
