Ladies, I would love to collect some 3d items again this year if you have any lurking in your closets, under the bed, in that very neat craft space (cause I know mine is always in tip top shape). ;)
I collect the items for those of you who do not know or remember for our Community Angels group to sell for a small fee (.25 t0 $2.00)to children in the community who would not otherwise get to buy Christmas presents for their families. It has been very successful the past two years and would love to continue this year. All monies collect goes to a Community Charity, in the past we have given it to Kidsport. Any questions please PM me.

Does anyone know of a list that is a good start for copic colors - I am considering taking the plunge but for obvious reasons one can't buy them all at once!

Helen, thanks for the invite to go riding around town. I would love to. I was away from home over the weekend, we went to Fawcett where our retirement home is, and I managed to get all of my swaps finished since my DH left me there with no transportation for 1 1/2 days. He went into the bush with his hunting partners to check the lay of the land (so to speak) for this years hunting, which starts in Sept. I saw Peggy on Friday and picked up my ATG gun (for adhesive) it is awesome....I'm amazed that I managed without it for so long.
Talk to you all real soon.....just 1 month and a few days....until the fun really begins.
Hi All!!!! Easter was nice this year - no lamb on the spit on the driveway! Yippee!!!!!! Just lots of other greek food! you name, MIL made it! Lots of people - I think there was 18 or so there! Yup - just the immediate family! lol
Did manage to head out to the lake on Sat night with my youngest step-daughter and her friend before coming back for the event (Easter). Had a greast time - weather was good, played soem board games and watched "Get Smart" - man, does that ever bring back memories.
No lake this weekend as the trailer has to be hauled back to the dealership for some maintenance :( which will probably take a week or so. Probably a good thing as I have yet to start my swaps! Nothing palnned on Sunday, so fingers crossed, I will get a burst of creativity blown my way! lol
No, you get $10 off orders more than 100 and $20 off orders more than $200. By combining orders I usually find that the combination of orders works out so the shipping is around 10%. If all you order is paper the % is quite a bit higher (up to 40% for a 100% paper order). Conversely if all you order is stamps shipping can be practically free.
Duty = GST. Exchange is variable and I didn't include that in shipping. The costs were in $US. I didn't see this message until after I placed the order, but there may be other people who want to combine orders.

If you are getting deal, I'd be interested too.
thanks
One more exam to go on friday and I am free to do swaps for edmonton - trying to find summer work - now that's a pain in the butt! Specially when everything is done online and then your left to wait...All well. Hope everyone is having a good week.
our kids used theknot.com too Peggy. It was a really great website. Both sets of parents had their password and it really kept us all in touch with what was going on, what had been done, and what needed to be done. We had fun with it.

Hey Peggy - if you are cruising around on "The Knot" our son's is under Tyler Williams #31. I went back and looked at it again. Haven't been on there for a VERY long time. Thanks for the reminder.

Morning ladies. Peggy how much were they again? I have a friend that wants me to pick some up for her. Also if you have a second can you let me know what the cost of my stampscapes order was please.
Peggy - the regular size of clear envies - are they A2 size (4 5/8" x 5 3/4"). If so, I would like 2 packages of them. If they are a different size, let me know and I'll see if I want them or not. Thanks.....Deb

I am with you about Dawn, I think she needs to share the job wealth around. That office job sounds like what I have been looking for. Crossing my fingers that I get a response this week, I am starting to go a little stir crazy here at home.
Class is optional, and will cost $5. ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TOWARDS OUR CHARITY - MS SOCIETY
The fee will cover all materials required to make 2 cards (one for you to keep, one for you to give out).. all you need is adhesive.
we will leave the sentiment blank, so bring a sentiment or two that will fit your needs.
Payment can be given to me at the event, but you must sign up before April 30th so we can have time to prep

Hi Peggy
Do you have any 6x6's envelopes? Are these the ones with the sticky tape? If so can I have 2 paks of the regular ones and if you have 6x6's can I have 2 of those? Thanks so much! Gayle

Hi Carrie
I have a bunch of info on the Copics and suggestions on how to build your stock and how to buy them. I can bring it with me if you like or try and email it. They are great, tad expensive but those who use them sure love them. Personally I'm a Tombo girl as the watercolor is much easier to work with than the Copics.
I know a lady that is going to be giving a class in Calgary on the Copics in the next few weeks if you are interested.
Gayle
