Deb, with all the different ladies we've met over the last 3 years, it would be amazing to remember who's who's. Not only do we have to put names to faces, but, then throw in their SCS names and then we are really done for. I can't even do the first two.
Hey Neeru,
Yes I'm okay to do papertrey. If anyone wants to order papertrey for EE3 let me know by PM, I'll place an order this weekend and deliver the goods at EE3 (or people can pick them up beforehand since they should arrive about a week or two before EE3). If you're wondering about total shipping cost etc... figure on ~10% for shipping and 5% for GST (charged at customs). It may work out to a bit less than that but those are good numbers to estimate with. I will let everyone who PM's me with their order what their total will be BEFORE I order so you can always change your mind. You can pay me when you get your stuff at EE3. Cool?

Are you getting a deal on shipping at 10%? The reason I am asking is that my 4 packs of paper cost 24.00 and the shipping for that is 28.20...for a total of 52.20. That's US so then the exchange on top and the duty.
If you are getting deal, I'd be interested too.
thanks
LOL Helen - have you been sniffing the Stazon already this morning? huh? Manning girl, I think, is Marsha. Hey Marsha, you bringing your cabin boy, ink toting, honeymooning hubbie again this year?
I haven't started anything yet. And our crafting cruise is coming up real quick - 22 days. Yikes, and I have a card swap (30), door decoration, s/b page to do. My card for the contest is the only thing I have done.
Then I need to decide what I'm doing for EE too.
Nope I am not the Manning girl, I am the Edson girl. As far as I know right now my hubby is coming with me once again.
Check post #2 and it says where everyone is from against their name! Judy(restless smiles) is from Manning and Marsha (scrappingrandma) is from Edson!
:(but I'm only from "Alberta" (that would be Lacombe Peggy )

I just have to share, My daughter just had her baby today, It was a little girl now I have a grandson and a grandaughter, my grandaugter is Mckayla Louise 7lbs 8oz 20.5 inches, I love the name they picked out eventhough I hated Louise as I was growing up because I always got teased now that my daughter gave it to her daughter I love it. how something little like that can change your thinking.

I like the name McKayla Louise....
And she is just in time for Mother's Day
Babies truly are wonderful, aren't they?
Congrats again!

Oh that's so wonderful! How's grandma doing today? Have you seen the new babe yet? The names are just right! They are always important.
I guess you'll have to go and hold the baby for a few hours so the mom can get a bit of sleep.;) I remember.... barely.... the first months of having a new baby in the house. I was always short on sleep! Well, now I'm short on sleep again as I have a teenager....

You'd be amazed at how we remember each other! If you don't remember faces or names you might remember the gals by the cards or swaps they did!
I could remember Judy since she lent me so e powder once!
I think it would be a good idea if everyone not only has their real name, but scs name as well, on their name tags.
Hey Regina I know what you mean, it's even harder for us out-of-towners who don't get to OO or CC
Have a good weekend....
Good Idea Nancy! We could have our SCS name in bold and our real name in lighter or small letters in a corner! and decorate the rest of our name tag however! Or we could have our SCS names on one side and our real names or nick names on the other side and decorate both sides and flip our name tags once in a while!
I know I haven't seen all the gals for a while either so it'll be fun! Can't wait!:-D
Check post #2 and it says where everyone is from against their name! Judy(restless smiles) is from Manning and Marsha (scrappingrandma) is from Edson!
Thanks Ruth, I shoulda checked the list myself instead of relying on my swiss cheese memory! ( That's what happens when you sniff too much ink , I think!) ( I'm a recovering.... inkoholic as I put my stazon up on a high shelf for a while!)
Now I remember I haven't seen Judy since CC..... The first one, as I didn't go to the last one! See my memory still works!
Marsha is the gal with the real nice ink cabinet right! A real nice hubby who made if for her too! Gosh some gals just have all the luck! Mine has a tool box but doesn't use it .... like you know! If I wanna fix something I could open the tool box myself!;)

My daughter lives in ont so I will be able to see pictures as soon as they send them but I will not get to hold my grandaughter to July when we go on holidays, but then I can spoil her some more, as I just went out and bought her some darling clothes to send out to them

Teenagers are fun I am on my last one at 17 she thinks she does not have to let me now what is going on, at least she does not have a car yet and we live out of town so that does still give me a little bit of controll lol

You are absolutely right about remembering people in other ways. That is pretty much how I do it. Mostly I remember faces.
Like, I know that person from somewhere, just can't place it.
Remembering people by their swaps is an interesting thought. Good thing I'm not swapping this year. I would really have to up the quality if people remebered me for that.
I'm not swapping this year because I procrastinate till the very end every year and then it is more stressful than fun.
I didn't swap last year at CC and it was just so much more fun for me.
Unfortunately, I did miss out on getting some really awesome cards though.
That was my trade off though. No cards for less strss and more fun.
You have do do what is best for you. That's what it was for me.
Yeah! Carrie! Keep on studying!!!:-D You go girl!
When are you going to be done with these exams??
Chat later!
Thanks for the cheers. I write one on Monday and one on Friday and then I can focus on these swaps - I havn't stamped anything in so long I wonder if I will remember..lol.
Scrappinggrandma congratulations - babys are such a joy and the name is gorgeous!
Cograts on your schooling being almost done. Just think, half way. What you've been through till now, times one more time. OK, don't go to thought. I know you will do great in the second ahlf too.
Marsha, Congrats on the new grand daughter. The pictures will be exciting, but, I bet you will be counting down the days until you get to hold her.
Are you kidding Carrie, you forget how to stamp! Now you are one of the people that people remember your swaps. They are awesome.
Thank you - you humble me. As for school I will choose not to look at what I have put myself through in last two years..lol. In fairness I would do it again in a hearbeat.

Hi Ladies ~
I haven't been on the post for a while and there sounds like alot of craziness is defiantley lurking out there! It will be nice to put faces to names again, I was at EEI - had a blast but need to reacquaint myself.
First things first congratulations to the new Grandma - best of wishes! New cuddly babies are the best!
Carrier lots of luck on your nursing exams - I'm sending extra good vibes your way.
Peggy I know I went and blew it by not signing up in time for Anna's class but if there was anyway I could swab floors and be on latrine detail I'd really love to be on her waiting list!!!! Also spose I blew the deadline for ordering the stamps as well?!?!? If per chance i Haven't I'd love to get those two that Anna will use in the class - unmounted but mounted will do as well.
Also Miss Peggy what is your website address please as I would to have a peek and do a tad of shopping!

So good Sunday to everyone!

Hi Gayle!
This will be my first EE event and I'm looking forward to meeting you and all the others too!
i'll put you on the waiting list for the class... looks pretty full.. so i'll see what i can do.
I want anna to have to "me" time, and don't burden her too much..
if all fails, and if there is a long waiting list, i can help teach... mind you im not as talented as anna is.. but im a quick learner? lol...
regarding to the stamps:
I have placed it yet, but if you dont mind, you can buy the sets we used in class. I bought 4 sets, and Helen has her name on one of those sets, so you are more than welcomed to buy one of the remaining three
dawn gave the site to PWCO.. so i dont need to solicit again lol..
