Aw man!! Not coming to dinner? :( Um, no I don't really need a headcount for dinner. We have the room and so even if there are less than 30, it's cool...well, at least you guys will get to hangh out all day!
I just can't wait! I already have a sitter set up and I am taking Friday off to spend with Ava, so I am really looking forward to the weekend!

Keva,
My friend Sheri would like to come stamp with us on Saturday.
She is a great stamper. She is going to let me know for sure if she can go in the morning. What are your feelings about including her since we have open spots?
Ok sign up my friend Sheri she is definately coming with me. We will be working like crazy today to get her swap together, but we can't wait. See you all on Saturday.
Smiles,
Brenda
Yes, Jen! I have tried it and I love the new JAZZ!

Yeah, I know its alot for a swap...but I made it work and did lots of it ahead of time. Ok, so it is not the one I am doing for this one but I thought I would tease just a teensy bit. ;)
I didn't read all of that thread - at first I thought that was the one you had done for our TN swap and I was feeling bad - cause mine's not nearly that intricate.
I am sure yours is beautiful as well...But no, thankfully, I resisted from bringing this one to TN.
Thanks for the sweet complies ladies...I just wanted to share it with ya.

I know that Pam, Debbie (spanishcat) and meeee had a wonderful time stamping with all of you and meeting you all.... Just hope that we can all do it again! Came home with so many new Ideas and beautiful cards. Keva you did a great job getting it all together. Just let us know when the next one will be.
Thanks for letting us GA girls join you in TN. We had a wonderful time. It could not have turned out any better. Keva you are awesome. I am tired but happy. Good night,
Jen and I made it back to Montgomery safe and sound. We had a total blast!!!! Jen says she totally feels like eating a banana pop right now. My question for you ladies who attended the dinner is this...
If your hubby sucks helium, when he comes up for air, will he talk funny with a high pitched voice?
I wanted to ask that question when we had the "air and helium" discussion, but I was concerned about anyone who might have been conservative. After the "banana" discussion, I'm pretty sure there were no prudes at the table.
We had a freakin' blast. Hope we do it again!!
Smooches!!
Christine and Jen

Ashley and I arrived home late last night after dinner at Rainforest Cafe and speed shopping at Opry Mills. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and seeing all the beautiful cards. It was such a great time. I hope we can call it the 1st Annual TN SCS Get together and plan another one soon.

I sure did have a blast meeting all of you! You all are some very talented ladies, I really will enjoy all my cards.
For those that went to dinner.......
My DH and I are building a house and we worked all day pulling electrical wiring. I had shared our dinner discussion with my him and he thought it was a scream. Today I was trying to reach high up to thread the electrical wire through the appropriate hole and was having difficulty. Finally I got it through and yelled out loud "I'm temple worthy, I'm temple worthy!" DH just laughed and said that I wasn't right. Boy oh boy is he right.
If we do it again, we are so there!!!!
And my aunt was very thankful for the donation and couldn't believe how clean we left the place. She was certain we left it cleaner than it had been that morning so thank you all for that!
It sounds like dinner turned out to be a BLAST! Dang it...If LuLu (Cindy-chdds) hadn't been feeling so badly we would have went to dinner. Too Bad...next time fer sure.
Hey Keva you are so not that far from me...1 1/2 hours is no biggie so we will have to plan to all get-to-gether again.
Thanks Keva! Ladies, the cards/projects were awesome. The gals and I had a fantastic time getting to meet everyone and chit chat while stampin...
I would be interested in hearing if after making a certain card - you know have to own that set. For me it would be 'What a Hoot'. That is definitely going on my next order.
Anyone else HAVE to have a stamp set now?

Funny you should ask. I ordered the TAC set you used from Jen as soon as we got back to her house! I also must have What a Hoot and Wild About You (which was already on my wish list). There are others, too, but I have to match some of the cards to the catalog. I'm not sure of the names of the sets... I'm just a silly old hobby demo!
I had so much fun.

You are not silly (ok, well maybe when you choose to be) and old...no way! ;)
Glenneth did you say choose one set? HA I have a list going on in my mental notebook...I have been brave enough to pick up the catty and look through it. Yeah, I know that is so not a good idea at this point.
Here's My Must haves thanks to some very talented ladies (that's you chickadee's!).
Paisley BG
Sweet Shapes
Wild about You (this is a must have)
The Cutter Kit (p. 223, keychain) That thing is AWESOME!
Oh and I forgot to say that I have already purchased some new American Crafts ribbon and a clear gel pen. Thanks again ladies for the fantabulous inspiration. I just love sharing and receiving new ideas and making new friends.
Thanks girls for a great day.
I love all my new cards (and great new ideas).
Can't wait to make a bunch of those chocolate bar holders - they will be the hit of my office.
Had a wonderful time... sounds like I missed some interesting conversation at dinner. I won't pass on dinner next time.
Hey gals! I had a great time on Saturday! Glenneth and I literally made a day out of it getting home at about 11:30. We pretty much stamped, ate, and shopped til we dropped.
I came home with so many cute, cute cards. I've told everyone about them and showed them off to anyone who wanted to see. I do hope we can make this an annual event.
As for Glenneth's question, I absolutley loved the card we made with Wild About You, so I will have to have it. I also love Halloween and so decided What A Hoot will also have to be on the list.
Hope you see you all again sometime!
Ash

For the person who made the "Eeek" card with the bat (sorry I'm bad with names) - where did you get that glitter glue pen with such a great fine point?

Ashley and I are wondering the same thing....
