SWISS 5!! Southwest Idaho Splitcoast Swap October 13
It's time for SWISS 5! Woohoo!
Who is ready to swap??!!??
The date is Saturday, October 13, at Archivers. We'll start at 9:30 am and go till we're done, probably around 1 pm.
The cost will be $5 per person. This will cover food (good brunchy stuff), plates, and so forth. Please bring your own beverage with a lid. Sign up deadline was Sept 30. If you'd like to just come visit with us, you are welcome to do that!
Details:
*Bring a shoebox swap for everyone (your sample plus 12 packets), including everything needed for each attendee to complete your project. There is no vendor requirement (NVR) for the swap. It seems to work best if you package each person's materials somehow--in a ziplock bag or an envelope. Please include simple instructions and make sure your Splitcoast name is on your project!
*Bring your own scissors and adhesive of choice
*Bring a stamping related doorprize worth $5 or more. This can be something you make or something you buy. Everyone will get a prize to take home.
*Come and have fun!
Our official count for the swap is 12! Please bring your sample and 12 packets of supplies!
I'll be in Portland that weekend attending the SU! Regional on Friday and participating in the SCS OR/WA Stampapalooza on Saturday! I would love to come, but can't be in both states at the same time.
Thank You for Setting up our 5th Swap. you did such a great job in July. Need your address so I can send you the money for our munchies. i went to Stampin'Up Convention in Denver. it was Fantastic. The best Convention ever. I have been to other companies conventions and Stampin'Up's beats them all. I did win $85 worth of STampin Stuff from the Pajama Party. I got 5 classic stamp pads, 2 real Red Craft Pads ( Good for REd Hat Stuff) and a VErsamark Pad. Plus one Background stamp and the Monogram C. So it was the best prize. I swapped and swapped and swapped. I did really well health wise. Next year it is in Salt Lake City, Utah - July 30 - Aug. 2. Only one session. it will be the 20th year celebration. So you want to get in the minute they open up for convention. It is going to be great. My friend Michelle and I are doing the World Card Making Day on October 6 at the Caldwell Library from 1-4. There will be a small fee for the cards. So that will be lots of fun. Keep up the good work everyone and Keep on STAMPIN.
Sorry I'm going to miss this but please, please keep me on your list, it sounds like so much fun. I'm going to Regionals in Portland. Thanks again for letting me know about SWISS 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just LOVE splitcoaststampers.

It looks as if we won't be in the Treasure Valley till the end of October. My DS gets to spend his 4th B-day with grandma and grandpa. Anyhow...much to my dismay, I won't be there for the shoebox swap. Bummer.
Maybe I'll see you in Archivers as I KNOW I'll be there every chance I get!!!

I wanted to take a minute to discuss Door Prizes...
We have had a good time in the past with Everyone bringing a little something, that way Everyone leaves with something.
Your Door Prize can be store bought, Hand made, Stamp related or not, but it needs to be around a $5 value.
If anyone has a problem bringing a prize Please let me know before hand so I can make arrangements, I don't want the door prize to be an Issue or a reason not to come. Just PM me privately if you have questions.
