I just completed my new 20x40 class/crop room in my home with a private bathroom and would love to share it with some new ladies! I do have a two year old and one due in March, so traveling to the events that I have seen around PA over the years are a bit much for me. I would love to do a crop or shoe box swap or even a stamp for the cause. Any ideas? Anyone in the area? Anyone want to help plan something?
A Sunday would be best for me. I do have a crop planned for the 16th of January but other than that, I'm open. What works for you guys and what would you be interested in?
Jaci-just saw in your signature that you are due with #2 on the 18th of March. My first son will be 9 on the 17th of March. Hope you don't have a snow storm like we did for his arrival. Best of luck
I am in Chambersburg, not too far. If you get something set up, I am very interested depending upon which day. Sundays are generally good for me, too. Shoebox swaps are fun, but I can be talked into just about anything I will keep an eye on this thread. Good luck with the baby!
I am a little over an hour from there. I would love to be included if you put something together. Shoebox Swaps are great ... but I am sure whatever you come up with would be wonderful. I would love to help you plan out any details.
OK sorry if this is silly but new to dis. boards what is a shoebox swap:confused:
Each person designs a card (or card front) and brings everything needed (like a demonstrator brings for make n takes to a home show) to complete the project and enough for each person to do it, so if 10 people attend, you get to make 9 cards.
I'm due in 10 days, so it will be at least 2 months till I get something executed at this point. I'd love if anyone would be interested in helping plan or organize something so we can get things moving and maybe pick a date.
Prayers that everything goes smooth for you and your new baby and family also. Please keep us informed when a meet suits you I"m sure we can all work together in planning a day and time.
Anyone ready to set a date for some Sunday this summer? My baby is pretty low maintenance and happy, so I'd be productive with him around as I am at work every day and I'll see about sending my daughter to spend the day with her grandparents.
I'm generally free on Sundays. I'll post the one's that don't work for me and hopefully we can come up with one that works for most of you. I am not available 7/24, 8/21, 8/28, 9/4. I already have stamp/crops scheduled for 6/26, 7/17, 8/14 so we could do it those days or pick a different one. I usually have two ladies in addition to myself, so plenty of room. I just had a crop with 6 ladies this past weekend and we had plenty of room, but i'm going to be looking into getting more tables/chairs this summer.
