Wow!! Is it April yet!? I just can't seem to wait for SoCal Stamp Mania! I can't believe how many people are already signed up. This is going to be a great event and I wish is was tomorrow! Just wanted to share my excitement

There's a very sweet SCS gal in the Camarillo area (I think) considering coming, but I think she might like to ride down with someone...anyone from up north wanna offer?

I just got confirmation that my sweet friend, Jennifer (citycooks), who lives way up in Alameda, CA, and whom I have not yet met in person, will be going to this awesome event with me! We're happy to have you! Don't be nervous! It will be fun,fun,fun! If you have trouble coming up with a shoebox project just take a couple of cards from the catty and combine the layout from one with the color combo from another and you have a project!
Ladies! I went to Fabric Barn yesterday with Jami and JJStamper(check Jami's first post for the website)!!
You are SOOO going to want to make a day out of StampMania! Come down in the morning, make sure you have room in your car (:lol and hit Fabric Barn first!
Your brain is going to go BONKERS when you see all the ribbon!! And Jami's not kidding when she says "the most incredible deals on ribbon and trims by the yard and by the spool." Let me ask you, would you buy 100 yards of grosgrain for $6.50?? HECK YES! Are you drooling?!
Then put your yummy ribbon in the car and head over to StampMania for an afternoon full of stamping, swapping, make-n-takes, snacks, and SCS STAMPERS! After that we go out to dinner! What more could you want on April Fool's Day! You're only a fool if you don't come! ;)
Hmmmmm, and perhaps Pixie has more up her sleeve than just make-n-takes! But you have to be there to find out!!
If you've never been to Fabric Barn be sure to allow plenty of time! It's ribbon and trim heaven. Organdy, grosgrain, gingham, polka dot, patterns, 3 sizes of ric-rac and more!
C'mom ladies let's get those SCSM3 registrations in to Joy. No need to hesitate!!!!!

I am driving down from Sacramento on Friday. Do you have any information on a hotel that is in the area that I could stay at? I don't know the area so any advice would work. Maybe you could name a few that are close.

Let me get back to you soon on this. I'm going to call one of the hotels and see if we can get any kind of deal there for several rooms. Give me a few days. Otherwise I will just post a list of what is close.
