Hey ladies ... I know there are alot of us in the Cecil county Maryland area, New Castle County Delaware and not much further nearby Philadelphia...
so ... Is anyone intested in get together? Shoebox swap, day long event, optional include lunch??
I would be willing to organize an event that we can stamp and have alot of fun. There is a nice church hall 10 minutes fron I95 that we use for stamp camps that would be perfect for us.
Glen Burnie is not too far away. Hope we can get more interests. It would be alot of fun to have a bunch of us from the tri state areas come together and stamp a day away!
Keep the interest coming ladies!! I am checking with the church to see what dates are available. I am thinking in August, as the new catty will be out and convention finished.
I am a possibility. I am currently in MD near BWI but we are looking at moving so who knows where we will end up, possibly Westminster though. Anyway....I could be possibly talked into a shoebox as long as it wasn't while I was in the midst of moving!
Count me in too! I love shoebox swaps!! I'm in Baltimore and have swaps a few times a year that are posted on SCS. You meet the best gals at these events.

I'm a little south on the MD Shore...QA's county, about an hour south of Newark area...but I'll travel to stamp! Keep us posted~Cindy has done a good job of getting us together, but the more the merrier!
Hello Pam, I have a question for you. I have a 12 year old daughter who is my stamp buddy. She has been to shoebox swaps in the past and has really enjoyed them. She sits at the table and makes the cards just like everyone else. She doesn't run around. I was wondering if I could bring her with me? Pam
Also, do you think that we will be able to make 40 cards in 6 hours? I know the ones that I've been to before the most was 30 and we had 7 hours. Some of us were up to the wire trying to get finished.
I missed signing up for Cindy's, so please get me on this list as soon as possible! (BTW, I too think that 40 might be a bit ambitious, but I'm willing to try if everyone else is.) Thanks so much.

Can you sign me up and two of my customers up for this swap? The names are CardLuver, Cris M and Joan H. I'll double check to make sure that darlin hubby can watch the kids that day, and I'll get back to you if we can't make it.
The number of shoebox items will depend on the final number of sign ups.
If we were to have 40 sign up then we will split the group in order for us all to make the items within the hours.
My guess is we are probably looking at about 20 participating.
To help better plan for the final number of participants, let's mark July 20th as the final day to sign up, payment due by will still be the same.
