Hi all. I am thiking that this date just isn't working for many of you so I am going to go ahead and cancel this date. We will try for something in the fall. If you are interested in getting together and would like to give me some dates to work with that would be great. Thanks so much and sorry for the low turnout.

Do you know when you will have it? I should be able to go as long as I don't have something already planned. I love getting all the great ideas and putting faces to all the great SCS'ers here.
Amanda, it would be great to see you again. I hope you guys have fun at yours coming up also.
As far as dates - I am going to check the church calendar and see what weekends are open in June. I know our VBS isn't until the last weekend. I will check that tomorrow and post a couple dates for people to choose from. Keep passing the word along.

Hey Randi, that is great that you are getting a shoebox together closer to home. We are having fun planning the one here in Mahomet for Aug 13, so we will for sure pass on people down your way and feel free to pass our thread along to those located more centrally. Of course Amanda has to DO IT ALL, ha ha ha.
I am sorry that I love to stamp and get such great ideas from all the wonderful girls or ladies on here! (I prefer to be called a girl makes me feel much younger)
Hi Randi- I am very interested in joining this shoe- box thing! I have never been to one but it sounds like lots of fun and I would love to get to meet some of the great stampers from this area! I am in St. Charles, but Collinsville is not that far. I will continue to check this post for more info. or contact me with any other information that I need to know.

OHhhhh!!!!! I so want to participate! I live in Shiloh... but only til June 17th and then I will call Seoul, Korea home for 2 years. I hope you guys have a blast. I am going to forward this info onto my upline who lives in O'fallon.
I would love to join in. I just have to see as the date gets closer if I can or not. My DH travels a lot and I have no way of telling if he will be in town to watch the kids. The whole six hours alone with them might throw him for a loop, too. ;)

Oh that sounds like fun! But i am so new to this that I am not sure I could come up with something that would be special but maybe another time when I am more sure of myself
The last one I went to had around 25 stampers so we will try to keep this one to around 20-25. This is VBS week so life is a little crazy. I will post a registration form next week for you to mail in to save your spot. Then we will start posting who is coming and the number of spaces left.
I know for sure right now I have myself, my upline, my downline and one of her friends. Then two of my friends not from SCS are going to be there also. So we have plenty of spots left to fill.
Keep checking this thread for more info.
I will give you a teaser: My downline is doing a scratch n sniff card! Can't wait for everyone to try that.

Randi - Wow! How I wish I could come to this but my husband and I will be in Washington State caring for my Mom for a couple weeks. If you do it again on a date that I can come - I will be there for sure! I know you'll do a wonderful job. I am able to go to the one in Mahomet, though and look forward to that.
Maybe some time when DH and I are on our way down to the Ozarks we'll give you a hollar on our way past Collinsville to hook up for a soda.

Hmmmm, now that it is the 30th I might be able to swing it. When do you need to know by for sure? I have a scrapbook retreat I am going to next weekend so I will be out of contact from the 14-17. Sounds like it will be lots of fun. And with it starting at 11am I shouldn't have to leave at the crack of dawn.
Amanda - I would just say to keep an eye on the count and when it starts to get really full make sure you get your name in. I have to cut it off at 25 people in order to get all of the cards made by the time to go home.

I just got the cutest card from Jenny with her registration money. Please don't make me have to send it back because we can't fill this. I will still make it a go with only 15 but would be more fun with lots of great stampers there. Pass the word along.
We are only 20 minutes from the arch so it is not that far to come for a great day of stamping.

I couldn't find a babysitter for this date. But since you cancelled I may be able to attend the new date. I have been horrible about not going onto the forums, because I sit on it forever. Since my husband left, I haven't had time. But I am hoping for the next date. Summer is so busy for everyone! Keep me posted!
I was just talking to some people the other day and we were saying that we shoulld try for the 8th of October.
Any takers for October 8?
The 22nd of October is bad for me but the 8th might be too soon.
I fly out to Disney tomorrow morning so I won't be able to respond for a week. Leave your comments and we can settle it when I get back.
