We will be holding our 3rd annual Southern Illinois SCS card frenzy and card drive for our soldiers on October 3, 2009. It will be held in West Frankfort IL. We have room for a total of 25 ladies. We will be holding it at the church again and the ladies will be cooking. For those of you who attended the last two years, you know how delicious their meals are. There will be prizes, games and lots of fun. Please contact me for further information if you would like to attend.
Let us hear from you if you are interested in attending this event. We have had several sign up by pm's so spaces are going fast. Lots of food, fun and laughter is a sure thing.
Yay! I can't wait. I hope you already have me down. Jenn
I just talked to Becky and she read me the list of names and you are on it.
Have you mentioned it to Trudy.? I just gave Becky her email address to send her an invitation. I think she enjoyed it last year. Maybe her sister Ronita can come this year.

I forwarded the email I had rec'd from Becky on to Trudy, but I haven't talked to her.
I see where you are going to NC for the weekend, have a good time and a great trip.
Thanks. I sure hope it will be fun. We are going to Beech Mountain, NC and are going white water rafting. I've been once, but it was years ago. I haven't had a chance to google stamp stores. I better get on top of that...lol

Oh, yeah, gotta get those stamp stores mapped out, what is wrong with you, that is the first list to make. (sorry Ben) He probably has all the little boat shops already on his list.
We had a really good trip. We white water rafted down the NoliChuckie. We walked across a swingbridge from mountain peak to mountain peak that was 1 mile and 8 hundred and something feet above sealevel on Grandfather Mountain. Did some hiking. I loved it.

Have you tried to post on my PINK swap again?
Sounds like a lot of fun. Glad you got to go. Any sore muscles? Now you have to rest up for our card swap.
I haven't had the chance to try to post on your pink swap. I have had company from California the past couple of days.
We have had several people register for the swap this week. Erin, (Lucy1916) who attended last year, and her friend Rhonda are the latest to join the list.
Rhonda is a newbie to our swap and we are looking forward to meeting her.
I got home today and found some Happy Mail. I don't get to create with them now, but atleast I get to look at them now... More prizes. I opened the box on my way back to work and it is stuffed full of stamps. I think there is gonna be enough of these for everybody to have one. Exciting!!! I will get these to you as well, Shirley!
