I could get very attached, but until I see where things are headed, I am trying to keep it under control. I really like the mother and daughter. I am excited to watch her have a fun birthday. Off to get busy. For some reason, I don't get a thing done when I am on line.
I hope the princess has a fantastic birthday party! And yeah, I have been spending alot more time online... I have joined RAK and Wish RAK! Oh, and I am getting a secret sister! I'm waiting patiently...we get our SS name and info sometime tonight! YAY! I'm gonna be a busy little bee! I'm so excited though!
Uh-huh, and I totally take the blame. I mean seriously, I think I spent my half of the stimulus check on his shower and gifts, not to mention what I have bought since then....definitely not wanting for anything!! I am the same way with my nieces though.. there is no hope for any of them....

Thought I would pop in here with a morning hello from down North. I'll be seeing you this Saturday and am looking forward to meeting everyone. Sounds like a fun group.
I have a question with the swap. What do I bring besides my card swap. I went to a swap once that you had to bring lots of your own stuff but I didn't know it. I had to borrow scissiors and some other stuff. Ladies even had their own cutters. So let me know if there is like a kit I need to bring and what I should be sure to have in it.
You will need to have your own adhesive and scissors with you. When I went to my last swap I carried a bag with me that had adhesive, refills, my bone folder, pop dots, glue dots, and my ribbon scissors, that way I had everything that I needed. I also bring my sanding block for frayed edges, but that is because I am OCD!!
Okay, where is it again, so I don't get lost, and I will tell her that for sure!!!
Leaving Marion going toward Carbondale. Turn left at Ike Honda before you get to the airport. As soon as you turn on that road, turn rt into the parking lot of the strip mall. It is close to the other end of it. Papercroppers, too is the name of it.

Somebody help! I think Shirley got stuck in a dumpster! She's been MIA for a few days now! I'm starting to get a little worried. On the other hand...I hope she didn't get all those goodies and flee to Mexico or something!
Shirley, do you still have enough space for two carpoolers? If so, what time are we leaving and do you want us to meet at your house or what? If not, me or Trudy need directions to the church. We tried to look it up but didn't have any luck.

Wow, I have been so busy. So much to get finished up. Yesterday, Becky and I went to Evansville to finish up the shopping for the swap. We had so much fun. We left home at 10:30 in the morning. We closed the stores down, went to Olive Garden to get a salad and I got home at 11:45 pm.
I called my hubby at 3:30 pm and told him I would not be home until after dark. I called him at 10:00 pm and promised I would be home by morning. LOL
I am guessing I will need to leave HBG for the swap around 7:30 to 7:45 in the morning.
We are going to go up on Friday and try to get everything set up, but I am sure there will be some last minute things to do that morning. I have room
for you two to ride with me.
I also have been busy trying to get my reservations secured for my vacation next month. I am going to Colorado. I am excited. Going to see one friend who lives there and another friend is meeting me there.
Well, gotta get busy on my swap cards unless someone wants to volunteer to make mine for me.
Oh, directions. I will try. If you are coming from Harrisburg or Galatia you turn left near the Anna Gray High rise building on Cherry St. If you come from the Interstate, you turn right near the Anna Gray High Rise building on Cherry st.
By the way, is the 9am the arrival time, or should we be there and ready to go by 9?
It is the arrival time, but you can arrive a little earlier if you want. It will give you a chance to start visiting early and if the ladies have the breakfast foods ready early, you can start eating. I had planned to arrive there myself about 8:15 to 8:30, but since you made the statement I won't be allowed through the door with out a card, I might have to stay home. :(
LOL!!! Don't worry, I will be on the other side of the door with you!! We can plaster our faces to the windows to see what they are doing inside together-I figure if we are both doing it, it won't looks so crazy!!
I thought atleast someone might offer a complete pedicure for the aching feet for Beck and I. Whadda ya think about that Beck, no sympathy? Poor Beck even had to buy new shoes to aid her aching feet. Ok, I am divying up prizes just for that. One for me, one for Beck, one for me, one for Beck, two for me, one for Beck, Three for me, one for Beck 6 for me none for Beck 10 for me, one for Beck. LOL

Honestly, I think you all are going to be happy with your prizes. They are 3 times better than last year, I think, anyway. Hope you all have more room to take home more stuff, if not I can help you out.

Mine told me I need to start consulting him when I make large purchases. ( I think he just needs to get a night job.) :mrgreen: I told him I couldn't help it if he was a sleep and didn't answer me when I consulted him. I was going to be funny last night when I was ordering dinner and call and ask him if it was ok if I spent money to eat. Decided I would be adding insult to injury and didn't. I thought it was funny.
