I think we'd all look great in some kind of sporty team uniforms too.
not to knock the t-shirts Peggy made up in any way,
it's just that I do like a nice embroidered fleece....
Fleece! No way, 'I'd melt'! Ah but all you AB girls would need them in the winter!! I only ever wear a jacket if I'm out of the car. Still it is much milder here in the winter even with the white stuff.
I agree with Dione , cute t-shirts. Anyone know if I can just go to Michaels and say we don't get there coupons here in Rocky and will they give me 40%. I really really wanna CB.
Lisa, what you do is go to the Michael's website online and look for the flyer- print off the first page of the flyer and you can take that in and they should give you the discount. But you will have to wait for next week as that is when the new flyer comes out. In non-busy times, they only do flyers every two weeks and the flyer gets posted in the first week, with coupons for two weeks. Peggy printed me up some flyers from last week and yesterday, I picked up a Making memories rotary paper cutter for 37$ (aft discount).
The CB can be used for embossing, using the plastic folders- like the ones we included in the packages(bloomdots, traffic jam, d'vine swirls, happy birthday, thanks, tiny mosaic, bubbles, french script etc) or can be used for diecuts like the chipboard flowers we included in the packages. The alphabet diecuts and other diecuts are more exxy- at the big M, the smaller diecuts are about 20$ and the alpha about 100$ and the folders are 11 or 12$.
Im really worried about my shabby work after seeing yours and amy's!
uuuuuggggggghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't ask!! I hope it goes over OK cuz it is a royal pain in my behind right now....did I mention distressing sucks!! Even though it looks so darn good! My own fault though..."suck it up buttercup" as my hubby would say. How are your oodles of swaps coming along?
Ahh man, so your telling me I have to wait until next week to go to Michaels and spend some money. Oh well, I guess I can wait.
Diane is that the huge cutter that a few gals had at the extravaganza?

Yeah- my friend Komali, who was sitting across from me,had it. She enabled me. It is pretty cool. It has a self sharpening rotary blade. It is about 8 inches wide and will extend if needed. It also has a magnetic ruler to hold paper down. And it slices pretty thin- the feature that impressed me the most. I managed to cut a 1/8" sliver off some paper.
I have been looking for a good trimmer forever and was set on gettinga Rotatrim. But that's really expensive (400-500$ CAD). I had even concocted a scheme to fly to the UK (okay so I was going to visit my brother) and buy my Rotatrim there and bring it back (would work out to be about 350 CAD) if I did that.
Good morning everyone Well, I feel completely recovered from the trip and my workshop got cleaned up yesterday and now I feel like tearing it apart and painting it.
No my garden doesn't look that good yet but it will when things grow a bit more and I get some more weeding done and the annuals planted. I will take a pic of my Lilacs today-they are almost done-and post in my profile pic later this afternoon. I love to take my coffee, the phone and pad for sitting on and sit out on the ground tidying the gardens. Good thing I can't take the computer out there
That's awesome Diane 1/8' that's cool.
Need some help trying to upload some pics into the gallery and they won't go into our spot. What am I doing wrong.
I am incoherent with fatigue.
(imagine having as many words as me, and not being able to get them in the right order!)
plus all my unpacking has consisted of me ooohing and aaaahing over my treasures from all my new friends!
I still don't know *if* any of my equipment made it home safe,
let alone *WHerE* it all is...!
I guess I need to hustle, but a walk to the store for goodies made me all tired out again...
and I have a class in two hours
I have no idea what I want to do except for the paperclip flowers...
that would be a nice 'quickie'
let's see decorator POP cs, check!
Paperclips, large not jumbo, Check!
Cuttlebug...with diecut flower folder...
waaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
the bug fairy didn't come last night *pout!*
it was all a dream...
:(

Lisa, when I go to Michaels, I never have a coupon not even a print off. We don't always get them with our free newspapers and I just say they don't deliver them in our area. I check first before I buy any big item that there is a coupon that week. Got my CB that way at 40% off, no coupon, had to just sign with my name and postcode on a sheet as I'm rural.
PS Ruth, I am sorry you had to encounter the nasty road conditions- all the visitors to Edmonton have commented on how bad our roads are. The potholes this year, are especially terrible. You should write a letter to the editor about it. Maybe it would have more impact that us Edmontonians who actually pay taxes.

OK Diane! So what editor and what paper? Then I'll do that! I never get 'car' or 'travel' sick, not even sea sick and I've done loads of trips with Rex when he was at sea! Pm the addy and I'll complain like mad.
since I started an order list, I uploaded the bug accessories list on the first thread, if you have any folders, cuts, accessories, you need, pm me and I will update it.
Wow.
I *think* I did well presenting the "i" chart.
I actually think it is a 7 way tie!LOL
there was every kind of theme
(except for hula-island-getaway-princess... hmmm ...maybe we *shoulda* gone that way...
I'm just not sure how coconut bikini tops woulda tied in, or survivor torches...)
There were really solid ideas
each had a strong theme, cute tie-in and all were quite do-able.
sorry you missed the presentations,
it was a *moment*
I have pics, I just haven't uploaded anything for a while yet.
char.

Maybe this trimmer will be good enough.

I stay home!LOL!
