Hi! We had a failed attempt at getting Phoenix stampers together last year... and I thought I'd try again. I live in Anthem (north of phx) and I'm happy to host a shoebox swap at my house (or community center if we have enough people). Please post and let me know what you think! I think that either late April or early May would be best... that would give us enough time to track down the Phx SCS girls and get something planned.
Are Saturdays good? That is best for me... but I can be flexible. Also, we should talk about the "rules" of our swap. Anyone have suggestions? I'll call the community center to check on a rental rate... I don't think it is very much, but who knows! If it is too much, we can come to my house.
Saturdays are usually ok with me, but on the 4th Sat of every month, I have a stamp club from 10am-noon. If it were later inthe afternoon, that'd be great!
As far as rules for the shoebox swap, every one I've been to, the rules are the card can't take more than 10 minutes to make, ALL SU! supplies only, usually no embossing (since that would mean getting up and having to move to another location to use the heat gun), cards must be layered, with at least one embellishment (ribbon, brads, eyelets). That's all I can remember right now....LOL
I hope we do this!! It'll be fun!

Hello AZ ladies!! This is so exciting!! I stamp with a group of 6 gals from SCS we had a get together in January and have been meeting every month since. We rotate houses/locations each time mostly on Saturdays as well so that is great! It would be refreshing to meet with another group for a shoebox swap I missed the last one because I was living in Japan. I don't believe that anyone has done a shoebox swap in our group so I am not sure of the rules, but many have swapped in our group. I love to see all of the different styles and techniques out there. I will pass the post along to the other ladies, if I can figure out how to do that if not I will email them with the information. Let me know if you need any help! I am really excited!
Lindsey
Hi Lindsey & Ladies,This sounds like a great idea!
Count me in, just need to be a bit clearer about the rules.
Do we each bring a certain number of "card kits" for each other to make?
I can do that. Will it be based on a theme, or anything?
Give me a holler! Lindae-mail: [email protected]
BTW-I live in Phoenix, near rt. 51 and Shea Blvd.
Hello, I am interested in this shoe box swap. Saturday's would work for me but I need to know in advance to ask for it off from work. For all the swaps I have been doing, any materials can be used. Perhaps we would not limit to only SU products as this limits some.

Really excited for the first shoebox swap I have ever attended! Is this still going to happen? Looking forward to meeting other stampers in the valley.
