wow sue! you *are* close! i am not really in pottstown, but in s coventry. wanna meet in limerick at starbucks for coffee and maybe a trip to ACMoore? my daughter goes to school in spring city MWF mornings. or is there somewhere more local you'd rather?

I don't know where the starbucks is in Limerick. I know the Limerick diner. Is the Starbucks in with the newish Acme across from ACMoore centee on Ridge? Let's make it in March. I have a big Charity auction I am helping get together on Feb 27th. After that I am free. Exton is good too.
it is in the center with the Acme. It's right at the Township Line Road entrance. It's one of the best ones around! Not that this area is saturated with coffee shops. Cows, yes... coffee shops, not so much! But hey, we also have a lot of yummy ice cream! Let me know when you want to meet. My days are usually free asice from moderating the gallery but I can always get someone to cover for me
I just moved to PA and live in King of Prussia - I think I am close and would be interested in getting together, as my only "friends" are virtual until I meet some moms or SCS'ers!!!

HI Joclynn - I am right off of W. Valley Forge Road - just minutes away from the mall. I would love to meet sometime. My children are 14 and 16, so they keep me busy, yet do their own thing. It's not like when they were younger and they would have "play dates", where I could meet moms. The kids don't understand how harder it is for me than for them. They have adjusted well! My husband was traveling from CT to PA every other week for work, so he knows lots of people here. This is why I love SCS - I learn great techniques and have been making friends. Hope to chat sometime soon.
my husband works right near the mall. and i grew up in conshohocken but have almost always worked in kop. that's a great mall, isn't it? my kids are 5, (almost) 7, 20 and 22. my daughter is in school MWF mornings if you want to meet for coffee sometime. i live up 23 in south coventry. do you IM?
I love the mall, well, what I have seen of it. My husband knows more about it than I do. I get lost everytime I walk around it and seem to go in circles. He says their is a Disney Store, but I have yet to see it!
I was looking in your gallery (I am a stalker) and you are so talented. I haven't posted much, mostly Disney things - I am a fanatic about the happiest place on earth!
I work in Collegeville, but I have some flexibilty on all days except for Mondays - I am the payroll person, so I run the payroll every other Monday!!!
oh, and ckc has a huge convention there (at the VF convention center) in the late summer... fun!
Well, I will be looking for that. Someone told me on Friday that the new PA Convention Center in Oaks is holding a scrap/stamp event at the end of March. That would be fun too!
Here's the webiste - I "googled" the convention center, looked at the calendar and there it was. I was jumping up and down. Maybe it would be fun to meet up and go!

Do you have to pre buy tix. I was looking at the web site and it isn't very clear who the vendors are. If they are SU demos, CTMH vendors or if they are actual company reps. Not to inclined to go if they are direct sales vendors.
But anyway we should hook up and play!

there are some classes i want to take at the convention center in oaks. i've been dying to play with a just rite stamper and there's a class for that! it's a bit pricey (compared to ckc) but you get the stamps!
a couple of sites I have heard of a couple that look interesting, hopefully more will sign on, seems a little small.
The classes and the make and take seem to be only on Friday, the convention on Sat. I would love to go to the make and take it is $25 and runs from 7 - 9:30 on Friday. tickets for the convention are only $5 and are good for both days. What would you ladies like to do?
You know I have been wondering about them too. I didn't realize you get to keep the stamps. I never read all the way through things. I love inky antics too, I like many of their stamps. Weird the classes all overlap (not that I could afford to take them all, just want to!) I am up for what ever you all want to do.
I moved here in July. We came from CT, but my husband was traveling back and forth between CT and Philly for 2 years and it was time we made the move. Kids weren't happy, but have adjusted well!
High school is a hard time to move.
I have learned to stamp and made so many friends (many of whom I have met up with) here on SCS. I am so glad I found this site.
I say we go to a class or the make and take and then hit up the convention on Saturday. Gives us 4 weeks to save some money. Can you say hot dogs and spaghetti for dinner every night LOL!
