We have one participant who is only coming on Saturday. If you know if someone who just wants to come Sunday, let them know that they can team up with Erin and split the $30 cost.
Im not enabling... AM is! she asked ME to get some beads
and A.M... there are two types of combo folders, one with die one with embossing,
or two emboss folders

Just a reminder ladies -- the deadline for signing up for swaps is soon.
General Swaps -- sign-up deadline is June 21
Shoebox Swaps -- sign-up deadline is July 1.
Not many have signed up for swaps. I know that some of you are wanting to just work on your own things, some are getting ready for convention. So our swap groups may be quite small (sometimes good things come in small groups).
If you want to check on the swaps, please go to page 3 and scroll down to Post #109. There is still lots of time to decide.

I am glad to see that the mud slinging has already started....surprised that Sandi is not slinging more at Robin.... the rest of you guys crack me up!!!
A reminder to get any last meal ticket requests in to me. Since we are heading out on holidays in early July {**pout, pout**}, I am going to call the college and give the ticket names/numbers (whatever they need) on Monday June 30th. That means you need to have contacted me by that date in order to get your orders in for meal tickets!!!! You'll be hungry if you don't do so in time so make sure you PM me with your requests before Monday June 30th.
I have a package of Mica .... not large sheets, but a few pieces about the size of the palm of my hand..... is that what you are looking for Diane??? I could leave a little gift for you at OO.....
Also, just so you all know... I truely should have the KEENER award here.....as I actually have 2 SHOEBOX PROJECTS ready to go for OO!!!!!!!!! That was before I realized that I wasn't going to be able to go. I am tempted to leave them with Robin to give out at OO but I think I will keep them..... I just might get to go to the Calgary Classic....maybe :-)

I am being a good DIL and taking the MIL to visit her SIL in Vanderhoof BC for about a week and a 1/2 so I'm not sure how much I'll be on... After that I'll be back and chatting it up... I leave tomorrow a.m. YIKES

Deb which post are the swaps on so I can check out what I want to do? Not quite in gear enough to check out all the pages. Got another blasted ear infection and spent 2 hours at the walk-in this morning! All for two minutes to see the dr for antibiotics!

Hi Everyone,
Cindy, Val, and I are planning on doing a "day trip" from Edmonton down to Olds on Friday the 11th and I'm looking for recommendations on places to visit along the way. Specifically, stamping and scrapping stores, and/or little cafes for tea, coffee, and homemade food. Thanks for your help, Wendy.
Imagine that -- your first post and you're asking for the best shopping places. My kinda friend!!
Red Deer has a Scrapbooker's Paradise @ 2004-50 Avenue. It is the third exit into Red Deer (the furthest south).
There is a Michael's as well which is just a little bit north of Scrapbooker's.
There is a great little Dollar-Rama in Leduc which is in the same complex as the Wal-Mart.
That's about all I know about.

Deb, I thought I'd posted here yesterday but couldn't have hit the submit button! I'll do a coaster book of some kind for my 3D general swap. It's about time I used some of the stack of coasters and DP I have. Not sure how simple or complicated it may be as I am just in the mood to be a little creative and use some of the supplies I have accumulated!!! :lol:
Robin where do you get your scrubs? I may NEED to have some too! How much more comfy can you get?!
Robin is away camping with DH right now...so she can fix this if I get off track. She got her first scrubs at SAAN, then some at Marks Work Wearhouse. They have recently switch there brand-- I got that from a nurse friend and it's not as good. You can get scrubs at Walmart and sometimes at Zellers too... There are uniform companies online too... Good luck... I'm in the process of looking for nice red ones for Calgary

Aviva has nice red uniforms, they are cheap too. Mark's also used to have red not sure if they do anymore.
