Hi from Bay Village, on the west side of Cleveland right by Lake Erie. I don't know how old this thread is, but I'd love to get together with anybody! And I don't mind driving. I know absolutely nobody who stamps! My one friend who did switched to beads and gave me all her old stamps so I could use a stamping friend!
I live in Enon (between Columbus and Dayton). Would love to get together to stamp/scrap. Also looking for someone in the Dayton area to go to stamp conventions with me (to work) around the midwest area.

Hello, I am a little distance from Cleveland but my sister (another stamp addict) lives in the Cleveland area and is always looking for stamping friends!!! If interested pm me.

Hi there is subscribed to this thread a while ago adn i periodically check up onit. I am int he AF stationed at Wright Patt. I am actally from Dayton so this is home and worka dn all the above for me, at least for now it is. Any way i live in Dayton real close to the base and have been doing Stampin up! for well over 2 years now and finally became a demonstrator in March. Absoletely love it. What all do you do at the Stamp Conventions???? iw ould love to help out and venture out more with not only my business but also with more Stampin women. Being in the military i am around men all the time so my scrapbookign and stamping bring me back to the feminine part of my life.
I will be taking my husband and his friend to Cedar Point some time in the next month or so. They are both roller coaster enthuasiasts and I was wondering if there is a place where I could scrapbook or make cards. Do you know of any place?

Hey, Lynn When are you planing to come down my way again.
Hi Bonnie, Cedar Point is only about 1 hour 15 mins and unfortunately you're about 3-4 hours away. I cherish the time we did have together, but that probably won't happen again until at least next year. Maybe we can meet up somewhere around Columbus one of these days.

Hey Gal, I can take a hint. We did have a good time didn't we. I know it's a long drive down here.
I've been working on an idea for a Scraping/Stamping Get Together.
1. It wouldn't take place much before Sept. when the kids are back in school.
2. Motel costs are so much cheaper after KI closes, for those who might want to stay overnight.
You know already I have a bed for you.
I can rent a room at our Community Center for 3 hours & the cost per person would be $6 if we had only 15 show up.
Or for 4 hours at $3 per person if 30 came.
This rentalable room looks into our indoor pool with access to the pool & sits 30 + people comfortably.
They do have larger rooms that don't cost much more per hr. We can bring in our own food & have access to a fully equipped kitchen. I'd have to check into the fee if some wanted to use the pool & other facilities for the day. I think it's only $10 a day for use of everything the Community Center offers. And we do have a day care room for those who might have to bring there very young kids.
I'm waiting until Sept. to see how many might be interested in this get together. If there are enough interested in coming I will then formally set up a date and rent the room. The crop would take place on a Sat. more then likely in the afternoon early evening hours. That way those that live in the Dayton Columbus area would be able to drive down & still get back home at a reasonable time.

Hi Lynn,
Let me know the date you will be coming to Sandusky and I will see if there is any cardmaking/scrapbooking going on.
Cindy
Hi Bonnie, I can attest to the great place you're going to have this crop. There's something for everyone, for sure! Thank you so much for the offer of your home, but I'll probably have to pass on this for this year and pray that you do this again next year.
Thanks so much for your offer. My husband is hoping for next Sunday, July 13. Of course, we need to take the weather into consideration. He would like to take one of two of his blind friends. If one goes, I'll need to accompany them so I can take care of his dog; the other gentleman won't need my assistance.
