Is anyone planning on going to Adventures in Stamping in Strongsville, OH on October 11th? I want to go but I would like to meet some other SCS'ers there.

Kathy, I'm planning on going and will be bringing my 11 year old granddaughter. If she gets bored, she can always use the pool.
Hey Ladies! I would be willing to get a Pampered Stampers Retreat together if anyone is interested. I live in EXTREME Southern Indiana (on the river between Indiana and KY). I would be willing to do something in Louisville, KY | Indianapolis, IN| or Cincy, OH. Anyone interested?!?!?! It would be a Friday night get together...and then ALL DAY Saturday! What do you all think?! When would you like to get together?

Our ladies from the church get together about once a month in Pataskala to stamp and scrap. Anyone in the area (columbus) is certainly welcome. We have one Saturday from 5-11pm. PM me if you are interested and I will give you directions. It is very non structured. We share our tools and stamps (if you want) and just work on our projects....and eat of course

We've had so much fun in Cincy both times, I vote for Cincy again! (Yeah, I'm biased....Cincy is closer than the other two cities). BUT I will go where ever you decide to have it, depending on the dates you choose. I like the Friday night/all day Saturday format.

I am down in Mahoning county near Stark county-Alliance, Ohio. I have heard so many things about the Adventures in Stamping through the years. Have yet to make it up there to Akron. But I did want say hello! Your post caught my attention=) And welcome to SU!!
I live in Alliance (Stark County). I am a Close to My Heart consultant and will be attending the Adventures in Stamping on Saturday, April 25th with four of my friends and hopefully my daughter. Hope to see you there.

Hi! I live in North Canton (Stark County). I may attend Adventures in Stamping. I've met Terri (tesno) and some of her friends at a CTMH stamp camp. They are a fun group of women!
Alliance isn't all that far away. My brother lives in Edinburg so we go into Alliance quite often when we are out at his house. let me know what day you ladies are going and I will try to meet you there somewhere. I hope to go on Saturday.
I can't wait to meet some fellow stampers from SCS.

How cool that there are local SCStampers here! I now don't feel so alone=) I drive through Edinburg (your brothers area) to get to Ravenna. There is a great Italian place up there called Guidos I believe. Yum!

Ah yes, Guidos right on Main St. MMMMMM there use to be one in Streetsboro where I use to live... I was addicted. :rolleyes: I am very familiar with Ravenna..maybe one day we can meet for lunch. It's almost half way for both of us.

That would be great to meet sometime! I teach so I am looking forward to the summer and being off. You use to live in Streetsboro? I take RT 14 straight up to get there. I like to visit the Aurora outlets from time to time and back in the day, go to Sea World. Oh how times have changed.
I live in Lockbourne -- just outside of Grove City. This means I am in Columbus, Ohio. I have no problem in traveling anywhere in the state for a stamping get together and Reynoldsburg is really close. I go to the Newark area because I love going to Dresden to purchase items for my baskets.
I am interested in the shoebox swap. I have never done one and they sound like loads of fun.
It would be fun to put something together and I am willing to help organize a get together.

I, too, would travel. Columbus is 2 hours for me . . .but would be kinda fun! I have never done anything like that before, so if you decide to do something and don't mind a newbie, let me know!

Hi, everyone! Just wanted to add my 2 cents that I also would be interested in an Ohio get together! I'm just west of Dublin, so also the Columbus area. Was considering going to the Adventures in Stamping myself as I've never been to anything like that - would be fun, I think!
I go to Plain City every week. We eat at Der Dutchman once a week. It is about a 30 to 35 minute drive for us. Maybe we could get some people together in this area for a day of stamping and whatever.
It would be so nice to meet others who like to stamp and create.

I went last year for the first and had a great time and spent too much. This year my budget is much smaller since I just signed up to be a SU demo and need to build my SU supplies. I am still going for the fun of it.

Hey Sims, I know Hiram very well...I am a Crestwood Red Devil alumni, grew up in Shalersville. I spent a lot of time tormenting the cities of Mantua and Hiram when I was young. :mrgreen:
For those of you that are close enough, there is going to be a shoebox swap in N Ky in July. It will be in Burlington which is west of Florence. There are only a few spots left but we had a blast at the one we had in April.

Hi, I am going. Will be coming in from Indy on Friday. Off to find the thread on the demo side.
If you have anothere shoebox swap I would be interested, I live in MI, but barely, very close to the Toledo area,went to the MI mingle and had a great time, but looking for something my DD and I could do together so meeting in OH is great, she lives in PA and OH it both of our half way points.
I would also be interested in a shoebox swap! I live in Canton, but go to Cleveland (the Clinic) alot as well as to Columbus. Count me in if you have one!
I'm from Mason, Oh. & have been looking for someone who lives close to me for "Get Together's" at my home for fun (no selling), card making or swaps. I've been stamping for several years & have a nice craft room, plus a table that will sit 6 of us nicely on the first floor of my home. I belong to several Boards, but being disable sometimes makes it impossible for me to get out and around. Let me know if your interested in a get together.

Hello! I live in Maineville and am interested in stamping and or scrapbooking with a small group. I go to Archivers 5-6 times a year. I would love to get together with others in the Cincy area!
I live in the Middletown area, between Cincy. & Dayton. I would definitely be interested in getting together to stamp. Spring would be a nice time to do it I think!!!
I live in the north part of Columbus/New Albany area and am interested in getting together, too. I work full time, so weekends are the best for me. I'm 45, with no family around, and it's so hard to find other stampers who are not already part of a group or click (for the lack of a better word) and who are willing to let a new person into their group. If anyone is interested, give me a hollar!

If it's a Saturday that I don't work, I'd travel to Columbus for a gathering! I haven't been able to have a fun stamping night with friends or been to a Shoebox Swap in ages!
Please keep me in mind. I live in Columbus and would love to meet on a Saturday near Easton to stamp and chat. Tammy--I've followed your blog for a while, and I would be thrilled to meet you. And I would love to meet others from the Columbus area, as I now travel out of town to stamp. Maybe we could have a small initial meeting before we start planning shoeobox swaps??!!??
