HA! I seem to keep reinforcing that I need to stay AWAY from sugar and chocolate! Not easy around all you enablers...they are part of the stamping culture!!! ;) I left work 30 mins. early and took a 2 hour nap so we'll see if I can sleep tonight!

Tonight I did start assembling my ATCs while watching "American Idol". I think I have everything cut and punched. I need to do the stamping and the rest of the assembly.

That is so funny Michele! We are giving ourselves nightmares about this stamping stuff! Maybe we just need a day of drinking and eating...forget about the stamping! LOL!! I haven't even started ANYTHING yet! This weekend will be very busy!

I'm ready for NJ on Saturday! My ATCs for Bflo. are ready for the last phase of assembly...whew...maybe I'll do that on the way to NJ! Need to stamp and then tie ribbons (already cut those) on NVR CFs. Zip for the shoebox and jammie stamping.

I agree and this is our busy season at work! I have a menu (drool) to update and a wedding program to typeset tomorrow, engagement party invitations and 1,200-1,500 Mother's Day fliers to print, and next week there will be 9,200 newsletters to print. Throw in a resume or two, copies to make for customers, business cards, and whatever DH and our employee have in their to-do piles. Graduation invitations should be starting soon, too. Then there are the "NEED IT YESTERDAY" customers. Top it off with emails, phone calls and the bookkeeping and banking. Thank you, God, for our customers who keep us in business and bring us money!!! I do so love that I'm taking next Friday off to shop!

Ahhhhh, the weekend has finally arrived! I am so buried at work that my mind is about as useful as a bucket with holes! I will relax this evening by watching my son's lacrosse game. He is so excited to play under the lights, not a usual occurrence.

The team is working on final preparations, getting lunch items purchased and ordered, doing table assignments and stuffing the goodie bags.

Here is a teaser for you....I have secured a new brand of adhesive for you all to try out. I know how we all love to try new things.

New adhesvise...can't wait.

Where do you get chocolate brown foan dots? I found some small square black ones on a clearance table but that's the one and only time I've seem anything but white.

Tracy, I don't evny all the final prep work you & your helpers have to do this week but sure do appreciate all the work everyone puts into it. Really looking forward to next weekend!

The brown foam tape (with red liner tape, so super strong) came from Jody Morrow's site which you can visit here. She has a lot of great stuff at good prices, and you will get good customer service.

After 5 years we have become a pretty fine tuned planning machine. There is always a lot to do the week before but it wouldn't be so bad if work weren't about killing me this month.

It is so great to see the fun people have during the day, makes all the work totally worth the effort

Tracy, thanks for all you have done to make this yet again a great event!

I am excited to say I finished my 3D project. And it is one of those projects where you hope the other people don't show up so you can actually keep them and give them out to friends and family as gifts. I love it when I make some I love so much I don't want to swap it! My husband even likes it!

Lisa, Good Luck with your weekend preps. Diane, I'm sure you have at least 4 or more of those ATC's done Keep on Pluggin'!! You ladies with the crazy busy schedules (Nancy and Arlene) I can't even begin to imagine--I'd be 6 feet under long ago with just a fraction of that load. Tracy, just in case you're all glazed over from a hectic week at work and final preps for the weekend, I'll try to remember my name tag so you'll know who I am!!

Got my swaps all done now! Yeah, now I get to travel all week. Two meetings in Boston on Monday, fly to Raleigh Wednesday, then drive to DC for dinner Wed night. Back to Raleigh, the fly to Buffalo Friday! I look forward to the break before the next week which is just as crazy.

Oh, and I am trying to arrange meeting up with one of the interns I have near Buffalo so I can do some "work" on the trip too. Tax help ... and mentor a financial counseling intern. Sounds like a plan.

Kelly.. I'm not sure of the whole story about Utopia, but it sounds like she has some new stuff too?? She sends email updates that talk about getting in new stuff. So maybe it is just that the "store" is temporary? I might just call to get the whole scoop.

Hi, ladies! Question from a newbie about stamped images for the Stamp Fest...do we need to pre-stamp the pieces that we'll be using on our cards? Or should we just bring the stamps and stamp sets and let everyone stamp their own images?

Thanks!

Bring the stamps and ink for people to stamp themselves.

I am so bummed about the XPEDX store closing. I used to go all the time when I lived in Rochester and after we moved I still went 3-4 times a year.

Most of the Xpedx stores in NYS are now closing. The Syracuse one closes at the end of this month, too. There are area warehouses that will distribute paper but the minimum orders and delivery fees are too high for our small printing business. We have managed to find other paper distributors that will usually deliver to us the next day but we sure do miss our Utica store!

I finished my ATCs in the car on the way to NJ yesterday and finally finished my NVR CFs tonight. They are both packed in their large ziplock baggies with my name on them ready to go. Now to get my shoebox figured out and prepped...

Time for bed...
