ACTUALLY designed my ATC tonight! Wahoo! I hope to complete 3 swaps this weekend. You have to set goals, right??
Oh, how I wish I had more hours in the day. Have to finish my daughters baby shower invites, work on two categories I've designed for May 17, design and work on the others and start some scrap pages for one of my gifts to my daughter. Work has been crazy busy....my program aide had a "mild stroke" a month ago and is out at least until September. I'm on my 4th "permanent until the end of the year" substitute and I've been told the current one "needs watching". I'm so exhausted doing my job, my aide's job and babysitting that I fell asleep on the couch about 5 last night, ate a piece of pizza my DH heated up for me and then went to bed. Got up at 7 this morning. I do hope this isn't the onset of old age! Lol
Hope everyone gets some scrapping done today....it IS the official day for it, after all.
I saw that about Andi this morning. Sorry I don't have Andi's address. How much more stress can she handle???? Poor thing cannot catch a break!
The military service at Veterans Cemetery is what got to me this morning after the service at the funeral home for my uncle. The two sailors saluting the casket, folding the flag, and presenting the flag to my cousin Donald (one way to keep the Donald name in the family!) and thanking him for his father's military service. That was a real tear jerker!
Gayla, I went to your favorite store after the service! I spent two hours or more at Wegman's. I wish Stephen had been with me because I think he would have found lots of yummy.
This week, I'll be looking more closely at the food offerings. Some of you still have a TBD so expect me to be in touch. Also, there were some "heavy" duplicates so I may be asking for some switches as well.

Thanks for understanding.
Guess who forgot what she signed up for? :p So, if it needs to be changed, I'll never know, Linda.
If anyone needs a reminder of their food item, drop me a note. It really is helpful if everyone brings what they signed up for (or what they've switched to) so that we have a good variety of yummy foods and not just an overload of one thing. ;-) Thanks.
I have now been in contact with a few of you. More to follow as I get responses.
I wasn't going to kit my shoebox but then because it involves lots of ribbon I decided I had better cut the ribbon and make kits. Now I'm sure I have enough ribbon for 20 people. Work is slow for me so I'm cutting and kitting yesterday and today. It would be good if I brought my NVR to work to finish stamping...maybe tomorrow.

I believe the instructions on page 1 request that shoeboxes be kitted. Just didn't want anyone to read your comment and think that wasn't the case.
Please DO kit your shoeboxes. You'll put out only half the kits in the morning and the other half in the afternoon. That will help ensure enough supplies for everyone who will be making it. You'll also want to be sure to have some extras of any parts that may be needed for "oops".

Guess I'm a rebel/"rule breaker"! I never felt it was necessary to kit my shoeboxes before, and I know others who usually don't either, and I have never had a problem with being short of supplies or having others take more than their share. Also I don't like having to use all those baggies from an eco-friendly point of view but they keep the pieces together better than an envelope.
Good morning peeps!! Is anyone placing an SU order, in the next day or so, that would arrive prior to this event? I forgot something on my order and would love to add it instead of placing another order. THANKS!

Zip done today. Spent Cat Mommy Day on the couch with my little fur girl watching Hallmark movies and taking a nap. Can't get up if she's sitting on my lap. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Only 20 more NVRs to finish assembling and I have five days.
