Good thing I went back and was shimming through the "rules" for the swaps. I was playing with ideas for the 2.25" squares last night and came up with 2 good ones, BUT I missed the part about being currant SUO. Will have to revisit this and see if I can actually do it. Bummer. On the bright side, I have a reason for some more play time.
So, I have a question on the Epic Day Sampler Swap...Since we don't have to use the Epic Day DSP, but are just using that as a guideline for our colors, can we use a different DSP as long as it's in one of the Epic Day colors? i.e., could I use Daffodil Delight from Polka Dot Parade DSP or Gumball Green from the DSP In-Color Paper Stack, as long as there were no colors on the DSP that aren't in the Epic Day?
Not a big deal, Linda. I was thinking that I could use a different pattern from another DSP pack, as long as it was one of the colors from Epic Day, but I completely understand that the cohesiveness of everyone's swaps is definitely important, so I will go with Epic Day. Thanks.

Glad you understand. I really think too many different options will detract from the look and if you use polka dots and someone else picks another print, pretty soon is could end up a mish mash. Maybe next time we'll pick a DP everyone has.
Alice, thanks for understanding about the DSP. Judy, I think Diane said you're all set, too.
If anyone in the Syracuse area needs some of the Epic Day DSP in order to participate in this swap, I do have some scraps left from my pack. I know some of my local friends are also planning on sharing a new pack. Contact me if you want in on that share and I'll put you in touch.

Yep, I'm good. In fact, I think I like the new idea a bit better than the previous ones.
Linda...please sign me up for the Epic Day sampler swap, the 3" card swap, and the demo quality swap. I'll get my registration form and check out to you this week. Thanks!
Working on my recipe swap now... lots of pieces.... still can't decide on Shoe box or nvr... ok, event isn't til May,, but I'm always ahead of things.. nothin to do, no place to go... and no money to do it with anyway!
I am really hoping to do less paperwork and tracking this time around and that is the main reason I listed the default options for the goodie bag and, of course, that's why all the swaps are listed on the form.
Why am I telling you this? Well, if I do not have your wish lists or swap choices before the March 30 deadline, you will be getting the default wish list and your signups will be for only the swaps you have already noted on your registration form. Please consider that before you send in your registration.
I will, however, post here before the event closes so that you'll have that as a reminder.
Once registration closes, I will be individually contacting anyone whose wish list has an overage so that you know the balance you owe me.
And, of course, there are often changes needed to the suggested food items so those will also be handled individually.
Hi Linda, I am so sorry but I will have to be taken off the sign up list, I thought we were coming home on the 10th, but it is the 17th (the day of the swap) so sorry I will miss it.
Pat
Nancy, got your registration today and slid you into the spot Pat vacated in case you don't notice that I've added you to the list. I was hoping you were coming!
I did it, I finally got a picture on my blog to work, all by myself. I'm so proud Gayla. Won't tell you how long it took. If anyone will tell me how I'm doing, please visit my bog and give me hints. www.artfulcreationsbecky.stampinup.netThanks The picture on the blog is my Stampin' Up swap for this Saturday but with a problem, I used Sale-A-Bration paper for the 1 layer so I will give everyone a choice of this one or of an other Stampin' up card I made last week for another card class. Everyone gets to pick. Choices.. choices...
