A special note of appreciation to everyone who left swaps for me and Jean. Beautiful work by all.
I hope you all had a great time and that you'll be back again. Please LMK if you have any comments/complaints/suggestions for next time.
If you like to mark your calendars early, it looks like those next times will be May 21* and November 12.
*The Too Much Fun Rubber Stamp Show is scheduled this weekend (Saturday-Sunday). Is that a deal breaker for our SCS event? If it is, I will go back to the Mother's Day weekend idea (May 7). LMK!
Sorry I missed the event but sometimes life gets in the way enjoyed joining those who went to dinner afterwards. The May 21st date is good for me but I will have a conflict in November.
Sadly, I think the fall will have to remain that weekend, Sue. The week before I am committed and no one was interested the 10/29 option (Halloween weekend). I dislike going any later because, well, you all know why...snow.
Great day! Beautiful swaps and shoeboxes, amazingly generous door prize donations, fabulous food and great seeing people again after a long time.
As Gayla asked, could a picture of the frame I made (with the Christmas bulbs inside) get posted. I never took a photo of it.
Regarding the dates, I don't have conflict with any of the proposed dates. I am not adverse to Halloween weekend.

Great day! I would love to know who makes the poinsettia die we used on the one card with the tree die. I'm sorry I don't know who's card it was, but I loved the poinsettia. Was it an SU die, per chance?
The stamp show may mean I can't come, Linda, but the day could also be a Nerium Regional I have to go to. Do not change on my account, because I just don't know how far out Nerium plans Regionals. We are in th eprocess of moving them from Rochester to Syracuse, so lots of things are up in the air.
thanks Linda and Jean, great day, good food, LOVED all the projects and a special thanks to Dana and Janet for the help in the rice recovery!
PS I shouldn't have any conflicts with future dates, I believe I will be RETIRED by then

The 12th is my great nephews 12th birthday and with I have made a promise to all 5 of the kids that I would not miss their birthday unless I am sick.
a few ladies asked about my heat tool stand.
yes allen made it and a few others.
if anyone wants 1 let me know
i can always take a trip to wegmans(dewitt) and meet you.
$5 each.
Lots of fun Linda and Jean!! Thanks for a great day!!
Gayla... now that I have room for it.. I would love a heat tool stand, actually, 2 of them please. And... 2 more recipe holders? No rush...
My throat got worse as the day went on. Woke up to no voice. Tea, hot cocoa, and homemade chicken soup is helping. Watching Hallmark movies most of the day. Hope to start my projects for my event tomorrow.

Finally getting a chance to catch up on things after a fun and busy weekend of DS's high school play and of course STAMPING!
Thank you Linda and Jean! I hope the event went as smoothly, and was as much fun for both of you as it was for me.
Thank you to all the ladies at the "Unperfect" People table. I enjoyed your company and your projects too.
Thank you to all those who donated such generous door prizes. Especially to the one of you who "gave" me the mosaic punch and stamp set in the plain brown wrapper (bag). I have wanted it, but never made the plunge.
I'm already looking forward to seeing all of you in May (if not sooner)!

Since Nancy mentioned the recipe holder, I would LOVE one if Allen is willing to make them. Like Nancy also said, no rush. THANKS (to Allen too ;) ).
Gayla I would like 2 of the heat tool stand however, I can't remember what the recipe holder looked like. No rush at all. When I get home I will try to remember to put the picture of Beth's door prize on here.
I had a great time also at the "Unperfect" table too.
