My house this Saturday 9-1. Then I have to get ready to leave at 3 to go to Rochester for DH's aunt & uncle's 60th anniversary party.

I will have to see. Not sure if hubby wants to do a trip to the dump. Sounds bad I know but Saturday is the only day in the week that he can go. I will let you know Thursday. Pretty sure I can talk him out of it...;)

Linda and I are thinking about a bulk buy soon of 3M 924 Non-Acid Free ATG 1/4"x 36 yds...but that's not your acid free tape 908. We had a terrible time with Tape Depot tape, too.

I do usually order my ATG refills from Framing Supplies or Crop 'n Stick. But, I just ordered a bunch of acid-free ATG refills for $6.99 per 2-pack ($3.50 per roll) and only $5.95 shipping. I don't think they are the 'gold' but acid free works for me. I bought 10 2-packs (20 rolls) for $69.90 plus $5.95 shipping.
Check out Stuff4Scrapbooking.com - I used the Google check-out to save some on shipping (scroll thru the shipping options - using Google saves $5 in shipping). They are in NY so my things should be here in a few days.

I have a question: am I looking at basically the same thing? Shapeology Dies, Spellbinder Dies, Nesties... are all those the same thing with just a different names? Looks the same to me. Will they fit into the Big Shot?

Had to look up shapeology dies. They all should fit in the big shot or cuttlebug. I can show you spellbinder nestles, PTI, etc. dies tomorrow.
I think I ate too much and something bad Wednesday night. I came home from work about 1 p.m. yesterday and napped. supper seemed OK but when I went to bed at 11:30 I was so cold and shivered for over an hour even with 3 blankets and a heating pad. About 2 I woke up and thought I would throw up but managed not to. My stomach really hurt. This morning I just feel tired. Ate a little rice cereal to see how my tummy does. Time to go to work and see how that goes.

You can use AC Moore/ Micheal's/ Joann's coupons at all stores for individual items, but not the ones for a % off your total sale.
I hope everyone will still chat during the summer months - I am already having stamping withdrawals and it's only been a few weeks.
(Is there a chit-chat only thread somewhere?)
I just wanted to say that I bought some of the new Memento ink colors --- I really like the new colors because they compliment the current colors and because they fill in more shades of colors and seem to go better with more paper. I am packing them in my 'going south' bags so that I can stamp make cards with my little nieces and my grandgirls. The girls all love to be crafty with me.

We used to have a chat thread but there were so many get together threads that it often got ignored. I think summer is busier for many but, don't worry, chatting will still be happening.

I haven't had time for stamping since the beginning of June and I'm getting ready to go south for 5 weeks --- I'm having withdrawals already.
I bumped into Cheryl and she told me about the new SU mini that is coming out soon plus CTMH catalogs are on the way so I am just jonesing for some stamping.
Good news is that my little nieces love making cards with me so I'm going to be crafting a little with them (they are only 5 and 8 ) and I'm sure I'll be busy with all the family doings anyway.
There's always August.... LOL

You don't need much to stamp. Just pack a black ink pad, white CS and a few stamps so you can satisfy your itch. And there is always some shopping to do wherever you go.
I try to check in here once a day. Don't have as much time to stamp as I want to but I am getting a few things done.
Since we are chatting here I have a question for all the cat lovers on here: I need a good litter. Any suggestions? The cats litter box is in the closet of my stamp room, so I need something that doesn't make so much dust mostly. I am using fresh step right now but it is like a sand storm in my closet.
I am going to re-organize my closet this weekend. I have one shelf in there and a ton of crappy plastic drawer bins from the dollar store that have worn so badly that the drawers won't open anymore. Hubby took me to Lowes to see if I could pick out a closet shelving system but then I remembered that he had a metal shelf he had bought for the garage a while back. So, I am getting that one for my closet and since I "saved" him so much money I can buy more stamps....;) This is how that works, right?

We use Tidy Cats for Zekey. Where to put the litter box is always a challenge!
I've been stamp shopping more than stamping but need to put brakes on the shopping. Need to clean up and put stuff away still after all the gatherings. I hope to stamp some fun stuff to take on vacation to color with my neglected Copics.
I've been watching TV a lot. Using my birthday iPad to browse. Thinking about what we want to do on our vacation to Maine that's coming very soon.
DH shaved off his beard and mustache for my 25th anniversary gift! He looks 25 years younger with his baby face showing instead of that yucky salt and pepper scruff.
I have everything packed that I can for now. Tomorrow morning after showering it will be the final packing of toiletries, food, etc., take care of Zekey's food and litter box, clean and replenish the hummingbird feeder, eat breakfast, wash dishes, pack the car and take off about 7 or 8. WOO HOO!!! Now I can relax for a little while. The neighbors will come over to give Zekey her pills and check her food, etc. For once I'm not feeling frantic about getting everything done. Vacation, here we come! :cool:
Have fun and enjoy your vacation. We have been so busy these past few days and having the kids home doesn't help either. Wish I could go on vacation now...

DH is having lobster every day...twice today! Today we went up to Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. This evening DH fell and rolled down when trying to climb up some rocks from the beach, landed on a rock on his back, and now he's sitting on a bag of ice in hopes that his tailbone will feel better. He's had a problem with the side of his heel for over a month and has been icing that every night after all of our walking. Now this...poor guy!!! I had hoped he'd be relaxing and enjoying vacation! Hopefully the 3 aleeve I gave him will kick in soon. It is so beautiful here overlooking the harbor!

allen's sister came a day early. she's up again to pick up his dad. and her daughter. both are up north @ allen's brother's.
allen & matthew are driving up in the morning. they will play golf.
mary will be visiting. all will return here tomorrow.
so tonight i'm roasting whole chickens.
dinner tomorrow. pulled chicken sandwichs,coleslaw. along w/ baked beans.
not sure if they will drive home after dinner. or stay over.
DH is feeling good, a few sore spots. We're just in slo-mo...taking it easy, driving around to see the sights. Today will be Day 5 of his Lobster Fest.
DH finished Day 5 with TWO lobsters! Lobster bake for 2 was included in our room pkg so he ate my lobster, too, and I substituted chicken for clam chowder and steamed clams and mussels. He said today he finally had enough lobster at one meal! He just said too bad this couldn't be welfare so we wouldn't have to work but could enjoy this luxury! Now he's napping off his lobster coma so I came out to "our"porch to play with my iPad and color beach scenes with my Copics. Sadly we leave here tomorrow. We have no plans for where we'll stop the next 2-3 days as we head toward home.
allen,matthew & i need to run out to lowe's. we need drywall-hey! for my hallway. and matthew needs a new ceiling fan for his bedroom.
maybe dinner out?
Lowe's was having a sale on Hunter ceiling fans. We got a nice one for Chris' room to replace the one that somehow broke. Dunno how that happened.
Dinner out is always good! (Especially lobster dinners.)
matthew's broke. but we know how that happened. somehow allen broke it while moving it.
matthew found a hunter one today. could he like the blades that came w/it-
HE!! no. needed other ones for the 60-75 days he's home from college. does his dad say no-never!
