I made the mistake of looking how long the flights are. 2 hours to Detroit, and then almost 18 hours from Detroit to Taipai (including a stop in Japan). OMG! I'm gonna die! I have no idea how to deal with this.
WOW!!! Sore butt and back on top of keeping Little Missy and yourself occupied (Chris is on his own to entertain himself and Little Missy)! Get up and walk the aisle a lot so you don't get blood clots in your legs (don't mean to scare you). Definiately find some good books to read. Take an eye mask and a light throw so you can sleep. Drink lots of water. Can't wait to see your photos from this trip! Have fun!!

We always try to get the seats right infront of the dividing walls. You have extra leg room there and a small child can sit on the floor and play. Walking is important yes. Every time I fly I take the window seat because I can sleep there better but all that sitting makes my legs swell. Go for comfort not for looks. Sweat pants and sneakers. I keep busy with the movies they have in flight. What a cool trip. I bet it will be a lot of fun.
I am officially flat broke. Went to Michael's and got me some stuff for the Steampunk swap. Got paper on sale 6 sheets for 1 $ and found a border stamp with little cog wheels for $ 3.99. I was also able to use a coupon off my phone for the first time. Had never done that before. Pretty neat. Still need a few things but I got a good start. Now...... 4 more days to payday...:(

Uh oh! We've infected you already and we haven't even talked to you in person yet!!! I did drive by your house tonight on my way home from Linda's but I couldn't remenber your number. I have to go back and read the PM and write it down.

I did not work on my shoebox tonight.
Re-infected, but I was a willing victim right? I will put my family into the poor house....lol. Was going to play with my new stamps today but had to rescue a baby bird. Maybe tomorrow if the bird stays in it's nest and nothing else comes up. I want to try some Steampunk stuff. I am really falling in love with this style
why is it i never can find ribbon when i'm working on a project?
spent over 2 hrs on my SU ribbon drawer- over 170 spools
not to mention amuse & tons of other ribbon.
just never can find the one when creating!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep! Martina was here several hours while waiting for her daughter who was at Summer Stage rehearsal. She made Saturday's shoebox so it has been approved! Now I just need to go through it and make sure I've cut enough and get it all packed. Martina would like to get together every week or two to stamp. Who wants to join us? We'll rotate houses to play at.
I would like to play too, if I am around. Summer is a busy time for us! Perhaps I could even get the dining room table cleaned enough that we could play here!! I don't seem to stamp much in the summer so this would get me using some of those many supplies I have !
Keep me posted!
Linda

Had fun at Arlene's house. She has so many cool things. Just like a little store. Loved making the shoebox project. It is very pretty and hanging out on my dresser now. Thanks again for letting me make this.
No, I am not going. I just made one of the projects at Arlene's house. Maybe some other time I get to come and play...
hi Martina,
they are usually so much fun and you make lots of things, but you dont have to make them all if you dont want to. i hope to meet you soon
Pat
oh I am sure we will meet soon. We have to get together. So, I went to see my friend last night and we had a blast at her SU workshop and at the end I was going to order the marker set. Then today I was sitting on my porch and read the new catty and I saw they had a special to sign up for a demo for $ 99 so I called her up and canceled my order. I will sign up as a hobby demo so I can get the discount. Since I need so much stuff it just made sense. The markers alone with shipping came to $ 131.00. I am excited. I will be own best customer. So, so excited.....

oh I really liked the cards Arlene did. I will learn a lot from her. So, I guess you didn't make it to the gathering either? We will have to make the next one. I can't wait to see what they did at this one. I think I will have to start bringing Arlene muffins when I go see her....lol
....me again. One last thing. I am looking to buy cog wheels. Michael's has them but they want like $ 6 for 8 or 9 of them. I would like to get more then that. Thinking about 30 or so. Is there a place online where I can order them cheap-er?
Do they have to be metal cogs? Maybe buy a die and do them in chipboard and color them metallic?? Would that work?? Then you'd have the die forever. Just a thought...

take a few days and really think about your order. check w/ your demo-you might be able to order from the hoilday catalog.
and after you sign up-your 1st order you get 30% oof. again. think-plan

Good idea. I will have to look for that even though I would love to have the real things. But I guess that would work too if the real ones were to expensive. Thanks

Congrats on becoming a demo, it is fun, and as you want so much it will be worth it for you.

Martina, you are welcome to borrow my gear punches and dies to make your own!
I'm pretty booked for the next month or so. I'm trying to organize the house this week. Kenny and the family should be here on Sunday. Hope to spend most of next week with them. Then our VACATION for 2 weeks.
LMK if you plan something... but I'm not planning anything here.

My house this Saturday 9-1. Then I have to get ready to leave at 3 to go to Rochester for DH's aunt & uncle's 60th anniversary party.
Heidi, have a FANASTIC trip!
I'm probably a no. The weather is going to be too nice to be sitting indoors. I should probably catch up on my yardwork and gardening. And I need to clean the inside of the vehicles.
And, it just feels like I have something going on that day... can't think of what it is though.... hmmm.

Hi arlene,
we are having the new counters fitted this Saturday, I am not sure how long it will take, so I may not be able to make it Sat. in your time frame, but I am so going to try.
Thanks, Arlene. Slowly packing now. Waiting for DH to come home, so I can ask him a million questions.
