I finally started to make some progress on this event. I got my twisted swap done today.

My Shoebox is done ... but only because when I (finally) found the box I wanted to use it had last year's kits with enough for this year. Good thing because my left thumb/wrist got strained shoveling snow the day after Valentine's Day. Not a constant pain bit repetitive movements are sometimes bothersome.
The Twisted swap ... I'm on my second stamp choice and deciding on a sketch and papers. Glad there aren't too many to do!
I had a heck of a time with my twisted. Went through about four ideas and finally settled on something.
And I managed to design the last club project for Tuesday tonight, so things are moving along here.

My shoebox is called "Washi Rainbow" (or "finally using up my stash of washi tape!" ) I saw Tilly today and she approved of my shoebox and my NVR! My shoebox kits are done. Tomorrow I'll finish my samples and work on my NVRs.

Hope you're making progress Gayla. I have most of the parts cut for my Twisted swap but have to verify measurements before cutting for another component. That will wait until after I've had some sleep because any mistakes mean coming up with a new plan. Assuming that goes well, I have some embossing and then assembling.
ATCs done and shoebox project worked out. Melissa will save me tomorrow with one more sheet of patterned paper to get me through.
SU order came today, so after stamp club tomorrow, I can focus on getting event goodies put together.

Finally decided on the embellishment for the Twisted swap (very relieved ... too many ideas didn't work for one reason or another). Still need to assemble them and that includes stamping the funny sentiment but there is enough time to finish eight.
Also need to type/print instructions for the Shoebox swap and verify everything for it is packed. Then to gather clothes and projects and decide what gets packed for my "me" weekend.
Time to craft a little bit before dinner. Can barely wait for Saturday!
I need to be ... my space is overwhelmingly cramped and chaotic (we have/had/have?) a plan to fix this but prepping for this event (and other bumps in the road) mean crafting happens in short bursts of time or aches and accidents happen. I don't even think I have a 12x12 clear workspace :oops:

Mine involves heat embossing... I'm hoping there's a section for that.
We have outlets along the walls. Just set up there and let everyone know.

My Shoebox name is "Watercolor Chick" Very excited to stamp with you all this weekend!!! And, I'm *Almost* ready! I still want to go through some of my stamps for the "garage sale." Hopefully tonight

Hey Nancy.....will you take a check for the paper & envelopes? I requested 2 envelopes (1 white. 1 vanilla), and 1 pkg of 80# paper. That'd be $45 correct?

Suggestion: please be sure your ink pads are well inked. I reinked my VersaFine Onyx Black and it's a wonderful thing! I tend to forgot so having a "fresh" ink pad makes for much better results.
