You *BEST* be riding with me!! I'll have S's car - not that POS we had to take last year, either! I'll have my coffee...beware. Um...my best *WOW* cards are still pretty bad...(Grommit, Beavis!)...but I'll bring my new Stampsmith plates - that'll make it fun!
I'm doing taxes...which means I've been glued to my monitor for three days. Just a bit punchy... ~ K

This will be better than a day at the spa! I can't wait to stamp the day away...away from everyone and everything that is! ;)
Best thing about it: with the exception of the Pastor (if he's even there, that is) it will be a Testorone-Free Zone. A whole day without Nascar, scratching, farting, belching, the word "nads" (followed by raucous laughter). I'll warn y'all ahead of time, though: if you're in the bathroom with me, I pee with the stall door wide unlached and I'll pee faster if someone can fling the door wide open while yelling "HEY MA! WHATCHA DOIN' IN THERE???":cool:

Hey Bev: I think Julie & I are coming...we have to find out when Family Camp is for Boy Scouts (our sons are in Cub Scouts and there's talk that camp is that weekend.) I'll let you know as soon as I find out.

OMG It isn't a stamp day unless Molly is there!! I want to take my picture sitting in her chair...that way it looks like I actually stamped some wonderful cards...Remember when I did that? I just think this is gonna be fun!!!
Let me check my schedule. I'm kinda filled up ... and a trip to Chicago and staying overnight may not be possible for me to sneak in... but I'll have to think about it!

I sent Michelle a PM with a link to the thread. I don't know if she'll join us, but she's only about an hour to 90 minutes north (depending on Six Flags & Tri-State traffic...) *LET'S BLITZ HER* with emails & let her know how much we want to meet her!!
My payment went in the mail today, as did Janet's (aamommy) my downline and Beth's (cmbeth) my **LURKING** friend who never posts but knows who all of you are by your art!!! If she doesn't post some of her art soon, I'm going to start a harassment thread....

Michelle, please bring that cheesehead with you when you come! I'd offer you a place to stay at my house, but, seeing that I'm about 1 hour and 45 minutes SOUTH of the event, I don't think you really want to drive that far. It will be a great time - sure hope you can make it!

What kind of *stuff* would we bring? All our stamps? Geez, how would I decide?
Do we just stamp all day? Make whatever we want in addition to the make and take?

Michele, I sure hope that you're calendar is open for June 10!!
Yes, it is similiar to a crop party that scrappers have. You bring whatever projects you are working on, and the supplies you need to use. Then you have from 10am to 4pm to stamp the day away. It is really fun to have the whole day just to stamp.
The Make and Take Project cost is included in your registration fee and you can work on the project that day or take it home and complete it at home. It is your choice. There will be instructions that go with the kit.
I remember one year that Tianne worked on the cutest baby card announcements that she was making for a relative. Lisa S was working on her swap cards for convention. Karrieg was working on a variety of cards. I think it was Julie who cut out a bunch of unmounted stamps all day. So everyone works on whatever they need to get done.( I usually take over Molly's chair when she gets up...so it looks like I have stamped alot!!! LOL)
There is a snack table...in case you need some energy....Chocolate....etc.
We usually break for lunch and then jump right back in to our projects.
I will bring my Big Paper cutter for anyone to use. And maybe some tools. I lived a house away from the church where we had it at before..so I was able to "run" home and get tools etc..that people forgot. This time, the church is lessthan 5 minutes from my house. So I can still go home. ( I forget stuff..no matter how well I planned it out.)

I don't know how I am going to wait for 2 whole months for this. (Sigh) I should be prepping for a WS but here I sit. Tee Hee!

:cool: thought the *BELLS* were supposed to be for the *CATS*!! Did Charlie put bells on your shoes to let him know when you got up from your stampin' desk again?? (...you've been up to *creating* again...)

Pre-bash at my house sometime before then? Make our own T-shirts and plan our *WOW* projects? I've got two bottles of Transfer Fluid, so we can do a combo of printing (with the custom RGB colors!:mrgreen: ) and stamping, then iron them on...or we can just order pizza, eat chocolate, and gab.
Just as soon as I finish these *freakin'* taxes....It's the darn investments and deductions. I'm dotting the "i"s and crossing the "t"s. The great thing about having the accountant do it: no paranoia! ~K
