I know that there is a Cedar Creek in MN but this doesn't mean that it's the one.

Okay after alot of thinking-- here is the deal
Event will be in October (not sure of exact date- due to no reason)
Thinking of making it a cost of $15 will include lunch and door prizes.
location is still up in the air thinking Lodge at Cedar creek.

What do you think?

okay ! End of October at Lodge at Cedar Creek will book room this weekend and give you all specifics on Sunday or Monday !

okay here is the deal! I only had a handful of people truly interested in the gathering this year-- BUTTT if you truly have your hearts set on it I would love to hold the gathering for you.
I will submit a reg form for everyone by Monday evening after i make all reservations and get room rates okay!

I've still been following this thread too. . .once we know more specifics, I'll be able to let you know whether or not I can commit to that weekend too. . .I'm still VERY interested! (you know ~ gotta plan for who's watching kids, hubby's work schedule, kid's sports schedule. . .need to make sure all bases are covered)

I would love to attend the Gathering again this year as long as it is October 20th or earlier!!! (Baby #2 is due 11/29 so wouldn't be able to travel within a month of the due date). We *loved* the Lodge (and the event of course) - if I have any choice in the matter I wouldn't miss it! I think once specifics are posted you'll have a stampede of registrations.

Were you aware there's another shoebox swap in Wausau being planned for Oct 6, only one week earlier? Maybe you two should combine your events and get a bigger attendance.

Oh, but the Lodge at Cedar Creek is just way too fun, and then I don't feel guilty about spending the day playing because my family is all playing in the waterpark... This will be the 4th year for this Northwoods Gathering, I'm sure that some of the repeat players haven't seen this thread yet...

I am really looking forward to it again.
