Arlington Heights Evangelical Free Church
1330 N. Douglas Ave., Arlington Heights, IL 60004
Please visit: www.ahefc.org for a map
Space is limited to 30.
You do not need to be a Demonstrator to attend.
No Stamper will be turned away!
Shoe-box swaps are to be full cards. Please bring 3 complete cards as well
as supplies for 30 people to make your card: cardstock, stamps, inks, embellishments, tools.
(Please make sure your name is on all your supplies!) Include a sample of your
project with stamping and assembly instructions on your shoe-box.
(Current Stampin Up! supplies are strongly encouraged.)
Your shoe-box swap needs to
be able to be completed in 6-8 minutes. Everyone will bring their own adhesive and scissors.
Theme: Christmas Cards. Unless discussion leads in another direction, everyone will make a Christmas or Holiday card. This seemed like the general consensus following our last shoebox.
There is a $28 registration fee per person that covers the hall rental, lunch,
chocolate, door prizes, and water and oh did I say chocolate.
Most of your questions should be answered in this thread.
But if you DO have questions please feel free to contact me via email [email protected] or post your question to this thread.
This event is organized by Dee Tollaksen and Catherine Healy, and is the follow-up event to the shoebox held in the spring. We had so much fun, we have to do it again!
I hope you will join us... Out of state stampers welcome!!!
Registration Form to follow in the next couple days.
I will be on my honeymoon in the Caribbean this day asing as this wedding doesn't kill me first! Have fun for me!

Okay, Michelle. You totally win in the "best excuse" category! How about everyone else?
Have an awesome time, and enjoy the wedding prep! It's the biggest party you'll ever throw!

Would love to participate...4 hours seems a short amount of time to "check-in", complete 30 cards, eat lunch and chat with others. I hate rushing....any chance to lengthen the swap hours to say maybe 4pm?
We have the room for the day, and we can stay longer if needed. Last time, everyone was done shortly after lunch, so 1:00 seemed like a good goal. I think stampers passed up the event because it seemed like too long a day, or they had other things to do that afternoon. Just trying to accommodate everyone!
So, now I will be standing on the porch, waiting for the mailman! The UPS guy already knows I'm nutty, might as well let the mailman know too.
Send in those registrations!!
What are the directions from the church to Simone's new shop?
What's the website? I want to check the hours and calendar.
I guess I should start making a wishlist...
Thanks!
I'm going to assume that you came to the church from 355/Rt 53 and exited at Palatine Rd headed east. Then turned right onto Arlington Hts Rd and went right past Craft Fancy! I'll find the website for you and post again.
If you want to visit the Craft Fancy store's website, here's the address: www.craftfancy.com
It is really darling, filled with all things pretty and crafty!
Happy Birthday, stampylisa!!!!!
I hope you have a wonderful time with your mom visiting! And that you'll be able to make plans so that you CAN attend the swap!
Stampers, please send in your registration form, if you haven't already!! This is first come first served, so if registrations are received, unpaid reservations may be moved to a waiting list!
Our list of participants is growing! This is fantastic! If you are registered, invite a friend to join us! If you aren't registered, why are you waiting?
So very exciting, Dee! It's about 10 away from reaching max cap! It's going to be so much fun. And I'm looking forward to the nice selection of prizes!!
Woo Hoo!! A sudden surge in interest. I also got a call last night from one of my girlfriends--she wants to sign up! Go Linda!! We might have to close registration!! Awesome!
Ask everyone! I particularly liked the selection of current SU stuff, but maybe things like cuttlebug embossing folders/dies, maybe gift certificates to Craft Fancy...? ;)
It would be interesting to see what everyone else would like chances to win.
