Rose-Ellen: On a Saturday morning, it'll probably take you about 45 min. to an hour to get to Stafford from the firehouse. It's a straight shot down I95.
Location: VA...between the mountains and the ocean beach!

Stafford?! I passed that when I went to Crystal City last week!
For anyone who's interested, we're planning a shoebox swap in Williamsburg on July 14. We're working on the post but will probably copy a lot of what Rose-Ellen did (thanks R-E!!). It took us about 2 1/2 hours to get to the firehouse from here...so if you're south of there it would take less time to get to Williamsburg, if you're north it would take longer.
I'll post a link here when we start the thread.
We also have Busch Gardens & Water Country and other stuff to do if you wanted to make a weekend of it!

Great minds think alike! But back-to-back Shoeboxes probably won't work for most of us-- those pesky husbands, kids, and jobs get in the way, don't they? :rolleyes:
As Sherri already has her location booked, Jenn and I talked and decided we'd hold off until Sept 15 to do the Stafford one. I hope that is OK with everyone! Unfortunately, neither Jenn nor I will be able to attend the July 14 one-- she's on vacation (lucky girl!) and I have already promoted my New Catalog Open House for that weekend. Promise you will post pictures please!!! And tell us what the 3-D swaps are!

Sept. 15th should work for me. Unfortunately, I already have plans for July 14th or I'd be in Williamsburg! Keep me posted on the Sept. date, though and let me know if you need any help with the planning.
Man! I'd love to be in Williamsburg! The hubby and I have been wanting to visit, but sadly, I won't be able to come that weekend either. I am in a wedding that day, and the following day (the 15th) is hubby and my 2 year anniversary! But please count me in for Sept. 15th in Stafford!

Clara! I was just thinking of you! I showed my Club Sun how to make your pinwheel card and they LOVED it! I used a pop up glue dot mashed into dazzling diamonds for the center. Almost everyone bought the glue dots, designer paper, and whatever tag punch they didn't have already to be able to make more (one even called me Mon to tell me she had made 10 more of that card!). So thanks for the inspiration and the sales!

Thanks so much you guys!!! I'm sorry you can't come down... I'll put Sept 15th on my calendar and hopefully Stacy & I can come back up there. I'm working on the post for ours now...
I'm resurrecting an old thread here.....I'm planning another shoebox swap and it looks like its going to be Sunday, February 17th in the Dunn Loring/Tysons Corner area, probably 9am to 3pm. Before I post a boatload of info, is anyone even interested in attending. It will be very similiar to the last one I did (details are in the first post on this thread). Let me know.
YEA!! Terri, I'm so excited that people didn't un-subscribe from the thread so you are all still getting the posts. This is going to be so much fun - again!!
As for the cruise, its scheduled for March 29th to April 5th. I just can't wait to go. I really think its going to be so much fun - and what a learning opportunity to!!
