Hey folks! Checking back in to see who might be interested.
A Shoebox gathering is where a bunch of us get together and each person brings a project (i.e. card) to make. The "shoebox" contains all necessary supplies to make the project, along with a sample of the finished project. Each person will ideally make one of each project before the event is over.
Feel free to pm me if interested. I'll get a list going of those interested and keep you posted on dates/times etc.
I should add that the cost of this event will be minimal- $10-$15/person for space rental and snacks.
I live in Central CA, I know Makani (Hi Makani!) but I am always looking for some fun getaway where I can stamp. Let's talk about some dates. I am unfortunately unavailable Nov. 17th and my family probably would be upset if I ditched them for Thanksgiving, but hey, otherwise I'm in! I have no gallery for you to look at but I'm working on my avatar so you can see my beautiful grandaughter!!
I'm available lots in Nov and in Dec!
Thurs or Fri all day.... as well as Sat and Sun (except not Dec 1,2 going to San Francisco) (oh, and not Nov 18.... 'cause I'm going to Stamp On Over (in Sunnyvale, CA) to do a class featuring stamps from The Cat's Pajamas (LOVE those stamps!).
What is stamp on over? I an always looing for new places to go and I work in Sunnyvale sometimes as a float.

This never happened, but it would be really fun to do one. I know a really cool place we can have it at and it wouldn't be that expensive, plus they provide a ton of stuff for you to use there. If anyone is interested let me know and I can see about setting it up.
Goodmorning! I'm interested. If it is on a weekend, I would be totally cool with driving in from the Central Valley. Especially now that the weather is getting to be so gorgeous!!! Please lmk!!!

Hi all you Californians... remember me??? I used to set up the NoCal gatherings... whomever picks up the ball to organize this again, drop me an email or PM, and I'll send you the emails I have collected for NoCal girlies.

I'm trying to mix it up with Mix-Ability every Friday (little behind!)
This would be cool and I wouldn't mind organizing this if any of you ladies are interested. I have a really cool place in mind that wouldn't charge a whole lot and you get to use anything they have there as well, so it ends up being a great deal. Let me know what you think.

its called a work of heart. The lady that owns it is Andrea and she is amazing. They also have a scrap store attached to it called Scrap Lovers, which is great. The lady Chris that owns it is a crafy goddess, well really they both are. They just kinda let you come in do your thing and they are always willing to help out and give tips, all kinds of stuff. Its a really fun place.
I am interested in getting together. I live in Castro Valley so San Jose or Santa Cruz isn't that far away. I would only be available on Saturdays. Please let me know if I can help get something together.
