Thanks for the clarification. Your youngin seems too be a bit dingy lately. Let's see if she can figure it out. Oh...but wait....Nina thinks I am a PIG. Here we are back to square one. It seems that my Aunt and Rachel are the only ones who truly care. Derek cares too....but he is sicky right now and can't respond. Boo hoo for me. Labor day weekend...great time to have a 3day pitty party!
OK, I have been having MAJOR guilt right now about driving to Arlington and staying in a hotel for 2 nights or giving the money to Red Cross. Our family has already donated money and we are going to go at the closet tomorrow and wash and send the clothes on. AHHH! I don't know what to do. (Been in front of the TV too long!)

Please please come. Kim and Em have put sooo much work into this. I know that Katrina is a big shock to everyone, but look at it this way.....We can all get together and stamp to relieve some stress!!!! All of the local Texans cannot back out on us.....I am flying in from Oregon, Cyn is flying in from NY, Aubrey is flying in from Hawaii, and Granny is coming in from Georgia.... Please ladies...keep this stamp day ALIVE!!!!!!!!

I know it is hard to think about having a fun weekend with so many people in pain and even a month will not stop their pain but by getting together we might be able to help each other cope with things a bit.

Thank you Granny....I am starting to believe that people are dropping like flies! Common friends...lets keep this together and have a blast! We have ALL been looking forward to this for sooo very long. We cannot back out now. I am coming to Texas NO MATTER what. Perhaps it will just be me, Granny, Cyn, and Aubrey....but I promise you this.....Texas will never be the same once we leave!!!!!!

BTW, the mistake I made is the one any mother should never make & now my daughter will not forgive me. I called her FAT and she is upset. Then to make matters worse, your sister Nina had made a cute little card while she was here & decided to send it to her big Sis thinking she would love it. Well, older Sis gets the card today & guess what was on the front, PIGS! You know Shanon thought it was a conspiracy!

Thanks for posting this Shannon!! I was seriously considering backing out also, but you've convinced me otherwise. (Plus my dh has just announced he's flying to Phoenix in February for a golf weekend!?!)
