Hi, I am looking for others that might want to just get together and stamp on some free week nights or weekends. If you have any interest in this and live in or around Woodstock, GA, please email me at [email protected]. Acworth, Kennesaw, Marietta, parts of Roswell, Ball Ground, Canton and Waleska, GA are also nearby. I love making 12x12 scrapbook pages, but also love making cards, just interested in finding a group of people that might like to stamp together in my area.

Maria,
Didn't you attend one of the SCS shoebox swaps once? Alex just started coming to those too. It would be great to have you both carpool to continue coming.
Kim and I held one of the first No. Ga. get togethers at my neighborhood clubhouse about 1 1/2 years ago in Woodstock, and then I missed the one after that, then went to the one that was at the clubouse by the baseball fields ---I think that was Cumming. I PM'd Alexis, and Jen and I have a friend of mine here in Woodstock and one in Acworth that would love to join us, and I will PM MLYates (who lives in Woodstock) to see if she has any interest and another SU friend of mine....heck, we may get enough to do another get together actually. I was mainly trying to get up a list of people that all of us could call when we had some time to stamp/scrap and those that were free at the same time could get together, but I am open to another big get together too....I always get such great ideas from the other stampers. Maybe we could have a new catalog stamp get together where everyone does a shoebox swap with a sample from the new catalog? I am sure I could get my clubhouse again and hold it there. Maybe GrannyHawkins could join us too since she is just over in Dallas, GA.

Maria,
If you get together for a shoebox swap, I would love to be invited. I miss my friend, Jen. Of course, you guys too but I don't know you as well as my buddy, Jen. We use to get together once a week before she moved to your neighborhood. She has great idea's!!!
I would be interested ... my mom prolly would too! We went to the get-together at the Roswell Library a few months ago. We both live in Marietta (East Cobb).
Oh - and we are both stampers ... I don't really scrap but my Mom is starting to. I'm (barely) a SU! Demo but not an active business demo... just hobby.
Is anyone one up for meeting at the new Archiver's in Marietta? They have Scrap Mania going on this month on Friday and Saturdays. Saturdays would be easier for me since DH doesn't have to work. It's $15 and they will provide food and snacks. Here is the link....Scrap Mania.
If you all are like me, August is one BUSY month!! Glad to have the kiddies back in school, hopefully will be able to get some of my own projects done now . I found another lady, Barb, who lives in Acworth that is also interested in getting together and scrap/stamp.
Since we have several people that live in the general area of Woodstock that would like to get together, what do you all feel about picking a date to try and plan a get together? How does Sat. Sept 22nd or Sun. Sept 23rd sound to everyone? I know that Cherokee Co. schools are on break Sept 17-21, but if either of these dates would work for the majority, I would love to meet you all in person and stamp. Depending on the number, we can hold it at my home, or at my neighborhood clubhouse. Please let me know which date would work best, or suggest an alternate date. If there is enough people, we could even do an all day stamp retreat and have snacks/food/drinks available. I would love to get some stamping done to prepare for Halloween and the upcoming holidays....how about you?

I have sent a PM to everyone that was interested in getting together to stamp/scrap. Just PM me back if you can make Sat. Sept 22. Either Noon til 4:00 or 5:00 or 5:00 til 9:00 or 10:00 PM. Please feel free to bring a friend. I just need a total tally so I can plan on where to have it, either my house or the neighborhood clubhouse. No need to stay the entire time, and this won't be a shoebox swap or anything, just a time to meet each other and work on individual projects in time to prepare for upcoming holidays!!

Decided that since several people could come certain times and not others that I will start stamping at noon and end at 10 PM this Sat. You are welcome to join us anytime during those hours, just let me know if you need directions.

Hi Maria! I'm sorry I missed it ... I really wanted to come but we are full steam ahead with Fall Baseball. BOTH of my boys are playing and it's just crazy.
I am in Athens, a little east for you westerners. But if someone was interested in meeting at a scrapbook store...I would love it. There isn't a lot here in Athens.
I am up for another get together anytime soon, hard to sometimes plan things as we move into Nov and Dec as everyone starts gearing up for the holidays and gets too busy to set aside a day for stamping. I can always have 5-6 people over to my craft room to stamp most any weeknight or weekend with a little notice :-).

for another big stamping session, it has been too long!! I can host it at my neighborhood clubhouse, just $150 to rent the space and it already has tables and chairs and a kitchen area, bathroom, etc. Holds about 150 people. Just need to see if there is enough interested people, decide on a date and I will reserve the room. Depending on how many people sign up, it could be about $10 per person (to cover rental), then people can either pitch in for sandwiches or pizza, or bring their own sack lunch. How does April look for most people? How about April 19th or April 26th, those are Saturdays. This would be in Woodstock, GA, which is about 17 miles north of Marietta, Acworth, Kennesaw, Roswell areas and about 24 miles from Cartersville, and about 8 miles from Canton. About 30 miles to Dallas, or Alpharetta.
Everyone that would like to join, please answer back to this thread with the date that would work best for you.
