Vicky - Oh I had that set and sold it about a year ago! I bought it just for the sentiment and used it in some of my scrapbooking...I haven't seen it offered much..

I spent all day yesterday rearranging my stamp room. I even organized all my stamp sets. Now Erica and I are going to use today to make our swap goodies!
You probably saw this but wanted to mention there is a Stardust set on ebay, has around a day and a half to go on the auction.

I thought I'd pop in and see what's up. Our company from CA is leaving tomorrow. She's been here almost 6 weeks and it's gone by so fast!! She comes out every year since we've moved here - and she'll be missed.
I've got all my pieces cut for my 3D swap but I just can't get in the mood to make a Christmas card. I don't know why. I still have some time so I'll be fine.
I hope no one is sweltering in the heat. It's been awful! I hope that everyone's Father's day was a good one.

Funny! I am the exact opposite! I have my card done, but can't figure out what to make for my 3D item and stocking stuffer!

I saw a 6x6 album that had nothing but punched characters. The finished piece along with each punched piece separate with the punch used written next to them....so I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing this. We would have to say which one we were doing and we would make the same one for as many people played...What do you think? Anyone interested? Even the ones who could not make the swap could do this as long as you had someway of getting them to and from the swap.

Awesome idea Pat! I have looked at many of these "punch Books" online and keep telling myself that I need to make one for myself, but never seem to get around to it!

Speaking of punches....does anyone (locally) have the ornament punch that I could borrow? I want to try a new technique and my next club order won't be in time for me to try for our swap!
How funny! I just signed up for a swap on SCS that is using punches to make a card -- but it's not due until Sept.

I would like to have these pages for reference also. How about starting a swap on SCS and have due date later than our shoebox swap? I for one, procrastinate to last minute to get my shoebox items together - have ideas ready to go but never put together till last few days -- I should been a newspaper reporter - you know get the headlines just before paper goes to print? LOL

So what does everyone have planned for the 4th of July weekend?
Hubby and I are doing a road trip to visit the Maker's Mark Distillery. I'm a member of the Maker's Mark Club and a couple years ago, they sent me a card telling me that a barrel of Maker's Mark had been created in my name. So we're going down to see if we can find the barrel (and maybe get a sample)
Other than that, we'll probably just be hanging out at the house, keeping cool in the swimming pool!
Some friends of mine have asked me to give a stamp class. I thought I would start with the basics like how to cut cs to get 2 cards, different ways to distress cs, we will make an altered notebook and 3 different cards...any other thoughts on what I can do?

I've had a great scrapping day today! I've got half of my 3-d items done and have my design ready for card. Now just to find something for the stocking stuffers.....
Hi Ladies!
I am putting together a bucket of free stuff for everyone to look through. I cleaned out my office/scrap room and came up with a ton of stuff that I no longer need. There are stickers, embellishments, metals, brads...just a bunch of stuff! Some used, and some brand new!
So...if you can use it, feel free to take it! Also, if you have any stuff you want to add to the bucket, bring it with you! Your trash may be someone's treasure - right?
Also - don't forget that we will be collecting cards for OPERATION WRITE HOME again this time...if you have any to donate, I will have a basket to collect them!
