Thanks, Mary, for getting back to Loretta about the stamp sets - you beat me to the punch! I'm only able to get on line in the evenings, so sometimes it takes me a while to reply Cathy
The more the merrier, thank God only one Donna! LOL Can't wait to see everyone, gotta get busy making my cards. Thanks again Cathy for taking the time to plan another shoe-box swap. The friendships we make stamping are so good for the heart and soul. Your the best.
Apparently I am the ONLY person in this house who knows how to put mail out. I have this little stack and asked DH to take it with him (since I was in jammies) went back to bed (mom's perogative(sp) ) . Got up and it was still there. So it is postal, along with a cute little clear stamp set for making you wait so long!
Thanks again Mary for the clairification, apparently I can't read either! ;-)
Loretta - thanks for sending the check, but you really didn't need to send a stamp set too! Though now I confess that I can't wait to see what you've sent me!! See you on the 31st - thanks again. Cathy

Hi Loretta - Payment arrived today - thanks for the adorable card. I love the clear envelope, and am now thinking of using them for my Christmas cards! Cathy
Just a quick post to jump the thread to the top. Our swap is nearly three weeks away - I guess I'd better schedule some time to start thinking about the kind of card I'd like to make! Three weeks??? - plenty of time!!! Cathy
Lisa - me too, I can't wait! For food, I think we're fine. We always have plenty - too much - so please tell Norma to just plan on coming and enjoying the swap! Thanks for asking, Cathy
Hi - how's everyone doing, with just a week to go?? I can't wait to see everyone and make all the beautiful cards. In case you may have forgotten what food, drink, snack, or paper goods item you signed up for, please take a quick look at our list in Post #1 to refresh your memory.
Oh and ladies, we'll have some first time swappers with us on Saturday - go easy on 'em - we'll want them to come back!! See everybody soon - Cathy

My card is done - WOO HOO!! That's a first for me - I'm usually very last minute! The fact that I'm having the entire interior of my house painted over several weekends has caused me to be a little more organized than usual. Hope everyone is having a good week, and looking forward to our Saturday swap. See you all there! Cathy

Good for you Cathy!! I wish I could say the same thing! I'll be working on my card this week! I am definitely looking forward to Saturday!
Cathy, Almost got everything cut, I have Christmas card fever. Can't wait to see everyone again. New stampers, can't wait to meet you and be more than glad to help anyone. New stampers need tender loving care and lots of kindness. So excited.
Here's a quick refresher, or perhaps a first-time tutorial, on how to get to All Saints Episcopal Church. The address is 203 E. Chatsworth Avenue Reisterstown 21136.
For those not coming from Carroll County or the surrounding area, take the Beltway 695 to Exit 19, which is I 795, the Northwest Expressway. Get off at Franklin Blvd, Exit 7A. Proceed to the traffic light at the intersection of Franklin Blvd and Reisterstown Road - Elines Funeral Home and Exxon Gas station will be on the corners. Turn left onto Reisterstown Road. Proceed approximately 1.5 miles, passing Chartley Shopping Center (BRICK Bodies) and The COW. Go through the light at Cockeys Mill Road, and proceed to the next light, which is E. Chatsworth Avenue. Turn right onto E. Chatsworth and go about 1/4 mile to All Saints Church on your left. Park in the rear, and come into the social hall for the swap.
I'll have my cell phone with me - call me on 410-458-7788 if you have any questions or need directions on Saturday morning. See you all soon! Cathy
Can you all say pro-cras-ti-na-tion? I just decided what I want to do, now I have to see if I can make it work, and then cut all the paper. I am going to have a couple of sleepless nights, I can tell. But I can't wait 'til Saturday!

Oh you're a woman after my own heart! That's usually the way I am just days before a swap. The only reason I have my card ready this 'early' is because I have a painter coming to my house all weekend. I have to have my stuff out of the way, or else!! See you Saturday
I'm going to have to stop signing up for your swaps. I seem to have bad luck with your swaps. LOL I just fell down the steps and sprained my ankle. They put me on crutches. Of course its the right foot so I won't be able to drive. I will either have Donna drive me or make my husband be the choufer. I will be there unless things get worse.
OMG! Please take care of yourself and feel better soon. If you're able to get a ride, we'll all pitch in and help. We'll get your swaps, and make sure you have food and drink all day long. The chairs have padded fabric seats - you could probably elevate your foot on one if you'd need to. We'll keep our fingers crossed that you'll be able to join us. Cathy
OK everyone, 14+ hours and counting! I'm so glad my swap is ready - just need to pack up a few more supplies for the day, and then I've got one more bedroom to clear out for the painter guy tomorrow. I'll tell you what - I'll sure make good use of the extra hour of sleep we're gonna get tomorrow night! Please check post #1 for your lunch item that you signed up to bring, and post #108 for directions, if you need them. I'll try to jump back on line once more tonight, and then I'll see you all at All Saints in the morning. Remember, you can reach me on my cell at 410-458-7788. Thanks! Cathy
Cathy - just in case you hop on here again tonight/saturday morning - my friend Norma won't be able to make it. I will be bringing her SWAP. Her niece had a baby on thursday, and she has to watch his big brother (the baby's big brother) tomorrow. She is disappointed, but I told not to worry and I will bring her SWAPs for everyone to make and bring her's home to her. (does this make sense? It's late and I've misplaced my own SWAPs!!!!))
Lisa - thanks for letting me know, and thanks for bringing Norma's swap. She'll have to enjoy the day vicariously through you when you bring home her bag full of cards! Tell her we'll miss her, but congratulations on the great-nephew! See you and everyone soon - Cathy
Yes, everyone, another terrific swap, with great stampers and beautiful cards! A huge thanks to you all for your wonderful card ideas, and your contributions of snacks, drinks, breakfast, dessert, salad, dressing, paper goods - just everything! A few special thank yous: to the IWIA ladies (Mary, Lynn H, Mary Helen, Loretta M, Donna & Pam) for the beautiful flowers and card, to Loretta R for the wonderful message center/organizer, to all of you for your help in cleaning up, and to Michelle, Karen, and Marcia for staying till the bitter end to help with the final clean up. I really appreciate each and every one of you, and am glad you were able to come today. I'll see some of you in a few weeks, and for those whom I won't see, then I wish you happy holidays! Thanks again, everybody - Cathy
Thank you Cathy for hosting another wonderful swap. I want to thank everyone for all their kind words and concerns about my ankle. It was nice to see people I haven't seen in a long time. It was great having a new table buddy Ms Rhetta. Great cards again. I emailed my friend and ask her if her husband would like to make more heat gun holders. When I hear back I will post. Thanks again, Pam
