I could have finished my ornaments today but I ran out of ribbon!! I have 4 art bins full of ribbon but not the width & color I need. Go figure!! :p So tomorrow I'll be on the hunt for ribbon that'll work.
Ornaments done but had to use a different color of ribbon. Hmmm...guess I'll tackle my ATCoins next since I know what I'm doing for them. I guess I'm saving the biggest & best for last, my recipe card & shoebox!!
It's been 2 years & we’re so excited that we’re only a few days away from the 6th NEPA Stamp & Swap! In addition to the shoebox projects, there are 5 swaps, a gift swap game & lots of door prizes…oh & tons of food!
Just a few reminders:
• Start time is 9:45am & we’ll be ready for everyone by 9:00am.
• Please write clear instructions for your shoebox; during introductions only explain what’s not in the instructions.
• If your project has an intricate die, could you make a note on your instructions if it works with the metal cutting plate that will be available.
• If your project has heat embossing & your embossing powder will be at your seat, don’t forget an embossing buddy to have with your powder. There will be one on the embossing table.
• If you’re not working on a project, please don’t sit at them. It may prevent someone from getting that project done. There are many unused tables to use.
• Pack lots of your favorite adhesive.
• Bring something to put your finished shoebox projects & swap(s) in.
• Label your tools, supplies, etc.
• If you’re joining in the gift swap, don’t forget to wrap it up pretty. Hold it until the game.
• Bottled water will be available but if you want something else B.Y.O.B.
• Bring a name tag.
This day will be a lot of fun but as you work on the projects, consider doing the part(s) of the projects that have to be done at the event (stamping, embossing & die cutting), take a photo of the sample then assemble later during the event or at home. Towards the end, it may be necessary to double up on the projects. This may help everyone get through all the projects.
I think this should be my last communication but I’m not promising anything…LOL.
Thank you all for a great day! Especially the PA ladies!!
It was wonderful to get together again and to meet some new stampers.
Of course the food was delicious, and the projects were all creative and fun to do.
I'm already looking forward to the next event!!
WOW, what a day! After not getting together for 2 years it was so nice to see our old & new friends!!! A big thanks to Diane, Jeannette, Lisa, Mary Ann & Renee for the hard work they put into this too...we make a great team! The projects & swaps were all top notch and oh, the food...just wish I could have eaten more. Time to start thinking about next year so if you have any suggestions, let one of us know.
It was so great to see everyone and missed the ones that couldn't make it this year. And way to go to the newbies that came. It could not have been better, from the projects, to the swaps, to the door prizes, to the gifts, and the food. It was a perfect day. Thanks to Lou Ann (our fearless leader) and the rest of the NEPA Stamp n Swap team of Diane, Mary Ann, & Jeanette. And thanks to everybody that came to make this our best yet!
What a great event with you girls. I have been working on getting my tools & supplies put back where they go, looking for the top of my desk, sorting through the swaps and ready to check out our gift tins. I am so grateful for all the generosity and the work that went into this event. Thank you all.
