The mail's been here today & I received registrations for Jill & Gayla (cute card!!)!! I'll wait for the official deadline before I close the event tonight but I have everyone's that I've heard from.
I double checked the swaps from the forms but if you would just make sure you're listed correctly & let me know if there are any changes ASAP. I'd like to post final number tomorrow!!
WOW, how exciting that 31 cardmakers have signed up for the 5th anniversary of the NEPA Stamp & Swap with 11 new to our event!
Here are the final numbers & a few announcements...please read:
PLEASE MAKE UP 30 KITS (this includes you)!!! PLUS 3 COMPLETED! **

**Although there are 31 signed up only 30 will be attending. The 3rd completed card is for Alicia, who can't attend & you will receive her completed shoebox in return. Alicia, we'll miss you!
When you know the name of your shoebox please post the name here or send me a PM by Thursday, Nov 7th.
We are opening the doors at 9:00 am & encourage you to arrive as early as possible to set up so we can start introductions at 9:45.
Introductions will be a "lightening round"...introduce yourself & give any tips NOT in your shoebox directions. Please do NOT review all of your directions. Directions should be printed or handwritten but if you can't then email them to me ([email protected]) & I will print them for you.
Each spot will have an extra chair for you to set your stamping bag on. Toward the end of the event you will find the shoebox you need to do is occupied so feel free to use the extra chair to double up so 2 can do the project.
As you complete the projects, consider doing the part(s) that have to be done at the event, take a photo of the sample then finish later during the event or at home.
Remember to bring LOTS of your favorite adhesive!!
So I got all my Christmas stamps out. I am excited and nervous at the same time. I am just wondering as a newbie, what do you pack in your craft bag to bring with you?--any tips appreciated.

Glad you're excited! I was nervous my first time too but there are so many experienced shoeboxers (if that's a word) that can answer your questions & give you tips along the way.
Here's what I use the most:
Lots of adhesive, a glue pen (for small part), glue dots, pop dots, scissors. tweezers, gum eraser, sanding block (in case there are fuzzies), bone folder, ruler, paper piercer (pokey thing), pencil, ruler, cutter. I sometimes use a small score board if the cards aren't pre-scored. If you forget something just let me know because I carry way more than this...LOL!
My goal was to have my shoebox & swaps done by the time we left for Florida next Wednesday & I did it! Yesterday I finished my 3D ornaments & last night I had to add to my shoebox & make 2 recipe cards. I made a lot of extra Christmas cards because I'll use them up & I had made a few extra ATCoins too. Now I won't be stressed while were gone! Details for the event are coming along nicely too!
I had a few hours today to work on my swaps and got my Christmas cards almost done. I have an idea for my giftcard holder card. Need to think more about my shoebox project.

WOW! Coming up with the design are the hardest! But I know you'll come through!
WOW Gayle you are one busy girl. I am working on my giftcard holder cards today too. I have a pot roast in the crockpot and laundry started. Now I can relax and get crafting!!
Are you a neat stamper or not so neat stamper. I have come to the conclusion that I am a not so neat stamper. You should see my desk and my floor after working on my swaps--it is a mess.

I am a complete mess. My floor is littered with little hard to pick up pieces of paper.
