Hi Susan! We would love to have you! I will send a pm to all attendees toward the end of the month with where to send payment, etc. For now, it's just good to know we're getting closer to our goal!!
My DH used to go on service calls for work to Murfreesboro- it's because of the people in that city that we wanted to move to the south! I always loved going shopping and hearing, "Mornin', ma'am", wherever I went!
Sorry havn't been back with you Christie, had a change of plans and having surgery in Dallas, bummer. My surgery is the 3rd of September, so not sure if I will fill up to coming up there or not. If I do, would it be a requirement to bring stuff for a swap? Not sure if I would be able to get that done or not.
I hope you do feel up to coming. If you do make it, if you don't feel up to making all the cards when you get there, I can make my card for you, so you don't have to put it together yourself.
I bought some stuff today to make door prizes out of..I'm getting so excited! I even saw a really cute 3-D item in the gallery that I've decided to use as my shoebox swap! I can't wait for us all to get together!!
AAHHH!!! Robin just informed me that my oh-so-cool 3-D project idea was one we did at the Atlanta get-together!! It was one of the projects that was already put together, so I totally forgot!!! Hhhmm... it is cute, I may just use it anyway!
I am getting ready to do my shoebox swap and was just wondering how many will you be expecting? I see 20 have signed up how many others are you planning on?
For my swap, I am using a method, I don't know if everyone has seen before. In it, you stamp the trees on the card stock, then you stamp the same tree image on clear celephane, and then press the celephane under the stamped image on the card, so that it looks like a mirror image in a lake. If people haven't seen it before, I would be glad to show it, or I'll leave clear directions on how to do it with my shoebox swap.
It's ok if we only have 20. It will be fun either way with more or less people. Fewer people just gives us more time to chat and visit.

I have never done this with celephane but I have with the brayer (Thanks to my awesome upline, Christie Crawford). I think that is a wonderful technique & I am looking forward to trying it a different way. I can't wait!!!
Right now we have 20 signed up, we will be filled to capacity at 40. I am hoping we get a few more people. If we do manage to get to 40 people, I'll ask each swap participant to completely make 20 of their swaps. If we each make 20 and collect the other 20 I think we'll be doing good!
I haven't seen the mirror technique with cellophane, but I have done it with the window sheets that SU! used to carry. People will love to learn how to do it- great call!
